Oh that is such a cute way to tell your OH Moneypuddle! :D

Sorry about the grumpy OH kavics, it is so frustrating when everything is your fault for no reason at all! Hope he's in a better mood today. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

aww, i always wanted to do something similar but i was so freaked out when i got a positive test that i rang him when he was golfing and told him cos i didn't know what to do!
one and only time he's been playing golf actually, maybe i should send him the next testing day lol

rang doctors, blood results are apparently normal, once i asked the receptionist to slow down and stop mumbling. might be boring to you love, but it's very interesting to me grrr

so no real explanation for the thirst etc, although personally i think it's cos i've put on weight my hyperinsulinemia has gone a bit pete tong. so more reasons to lose it again :)

thanks for your understanding ladies, makes me feel like a nutjob :) x x

I'm glad your results were normal TeamLowe, whilst it leaves you a few unanswered questions regarding the thirst etc hope it puts your mind at ease over a miscarriage.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

:j Congratulations moneypuddle - what a great start to the month, 2 BFPs already - I agree, let's have one per day this month :)

Welcome abis21 - great to have you on board (and any other newbies I might have missed, lots to catch up on even since yesterday afternoon!)

Teamlowe - ((hugs)) for feeling low - it's totally normal to be jealous/bitter about other pregnancies at times, hope you are feeling a bit better today, rant as much as you need to on here, it's what we are here for!

Mrshappy and Primmer - fingers crossed for the SA results you are expecting.

Thought of a new thing to add to my PMA list - for every month I'm not pregnant, DH gets more used to the idea and is almost at the point where I think he'd be excited if I was (am I really scraping the barrel for PMA ideas here??). He asked me today when AF was due and when I can test to find out if I'm pregnant or not.

Moneypuddle that's such a lovely way to tell your OH about your pregnancy. I'm constantly dreaming up lovely romantic ways of telling my DH if I was pregnant, but in reality I'll probably just shout from the bathroom as soon as I get a bfp!

Nearly the weekend everybody... stay happy :)

Oh wow-this thread moves so quickly!

Congratulations moneypuddle-that sounds like a lovely way to tell OH. I've always imagined (secretly of course) how I would tell OH and I was going to buy a newborn vest and safety pin it to my belly. Then I would say I'd bought a new top and show him telling him that it doesn't fit at the moment but will do in about 8 months :o

Hopefully I'll get the chance to do that one day

So...update with me and not much has changed.

I had a bit of a crisis before Christmas where my sister announced her pregnancy (sorry for going slightly loopy on here then girls-it hit me hard :o). It made for quite a difficult Christmas as obviously there was a lot of fussing over her and baby talk. Nobody else knows we're trying although she did and we've been trying for about a year longer than they have. I was a bit disappointed she didn't tell me in private first to give me a chance to 'put my smile on' in public, but hey ho. I'm ashamed to say I did cry a bit...and then felt guilty that I couldn't be more enthusiastic for her.

My OH has had his first SA test and has asthenospermia and has to go for another one. The doctor and clinic has been absolutely rubbish. He has been trying to book a second test, but you can only ring between certain times and then leave a message for them to call back. Every time they call back he is in a meeting...it's been going on for weeks. I rang yesterday and got straight through but I can't book it on his behalf. The communication is shocking, half the paperwork has the wrong details on, OH went for his SA test and they had booked a fertility appointment with the consultant instead, I went for my blood tests twice because they didn't record what CD I was on. . I know they see a lot of people, but this is a difficult enough process anyway without being let down by basic admin, surely? Between us we've already had 4 days off and we're not even on the good tests yet!

I'm 11 dpo and due on Sunday, but she feels like she is on her way already. It'll be good when she comes thought because then I can book my HSG test.

LOL! Sorry-I didn't come on here to rant but now my sister is pg she is quite difficult to talk to about these things. She just sits there rubbing her belly (she's not even 10 weeks yet...) and moaning how her boobs hurt. Don't get me wrong, I'm really, really pleased for her, but she has instantly fogotten how difficult TTC is.

Cycle 31 started on FF...bring it on

Derby - that sounds like she's being a bit in your face about it tbh esp at not even 10 weeks. Come on here and rant - that's what we're for!

Sounds like the clinic are being a nightmare too - I'd be going ballistic at that kind of ineptitude I think.

    Good luck with your tests.

cramps and faint brown spotting :( think I'm out this month :o

If AF comes tomorrow I'll only have had a 9 day LP, which is v short. Might be that I ov'd earlier than I thought though, hard to tell with my screwy temps around then and no OPKs. Hopefully temps will provide a bit more info if I'm not ill during the crucial time this month!

Hugs Derby, your sister should be more sympathetic.

Still got this horrible cold and feel rough as. Going to try the cough medicine this weekend until Ovulation to see if it works.

Things are moving quick with my house buying. The people we are buying off have their mortgage ready and have had surveys done on the property they are buying. Whilst our survey is being done today and the mortgage company want more documentation from me (going to take a week to get them). I get my divorce payout beginning of next week and money is going to be going out left, right and centre.

Thanks ladies-it feels great to get it off my chest!

zcrat41-it does feel like she is doing it deliberately but then I am probably a little sensitive about it! It feels odd when my mum is asking whether I think it will be a boy or girl (first grandchild as well just to make things easier!).

Flee-poor you. Two people are off here with the bad cold that is going around and it looks horrible. I hope you manage to chill this weekend and get feel better soon.

LittleMoog-sorry AF seems to be on it's way. I started off with really short cycles, but then upped my vitamin B's for a while and it seemed to kick start my system a bit. I'm now 25/26 day cycles and 12/13 LP which will do me for now.

And finally...some good news. OH has booked in for his second test (in three weeks time), and our second appointment with the consultant is the end of March. Granted, it's 7 months since we were referred, but at least something is happening!

BTW: does anyone know what we should be doing with the asthenospermia? We currently BD every other day until ovulation but I don't really know if this is now wrong and whether we should let him save them up?? I should have know my OH's laid back-attitude would rub off on his soldiers!
