    Evening all!

2ww is flippin boring. Not helped when others get pg in month 1. This isn't a dig at those with a BFP - just the reality/ frustrations of life!

Busy week at work. I have nails/ massage booked for tomorrow & a night with friends - hope that snow doesn't get in the way.

Not sure if you should have a massage in 2ww - I know you always get asked if you are pregnant. Well the answer is that I am not!

Still not heard in respect of OHs SA. It's only 5 weeks since we went to the GP but time isn't on our side. If AF arrives this month I may just go back to the GP & ask her to refer us to the private clinic to progress. I have read up about Care & it seems it's about £500 for the inital tests. SA on it's own is less than £100 but not sure if you can just have that.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Are you still waiting for a SA referral? I know different areas work in different ways, but mrhappy was given a leaflet and a jar from the GP and just got on with it :o Although when he took his sample over he was told he needed an appointment and was given one by the lab then. We didn't need to wait for them to contact us, it might be worth checking with your GP what the process is for a SA.

Ttc40 - that is so bad that you are still waiting for dh's SA! The gp gave DH a jar and a form and then we did sample at home and took it to clinic and they sent results to dh's gp in just under 2 weeks. Definitely chase gp next week. Enjoy nails/massage - sounds lovely.

Tea lover - I'm a really cold person normally too, with extra cold hands and feet. And then I found out it was raynauds disease. Theres a website here: http://www.raynauds.org.uk/raynauds/raynauds My hands go blotchy blue, white and red at different times of the day, and I often have to have 2 or 3 pairs of socks on. Sometimes I also have to wear fingerless gloves inside too. My hands sometimes tingle and throb too when its extra cold :( Just something for you to check out - I used to just think I was a cold person and not think much of it until I was told about this. Theres some hints and things on there on how to control symptoms.

TTC40 - oops didn't know that about not supposed to be having a massage in the 2ww seeing as I just had one! Thought it would be a good thing to help relax you? I know some of the products could have chemicals in them which could transfer through the skin - but I thought that it would be ok during this stage? Specially as we don't know if there is a baby in there (oh how nice it would be to have a little looking glass to just see what was going on in there!!). I hope you enjoy your pampering session and night out :)

  • Well, I am thrilled, but embarrassed to say I have a BFP :D I really do feel like I am queue jumping, if I had known it would come so quick i would have kept myself to myself for a bit - but it now feels weird to just move threads without saying goodbye!

Tested last night and got (about 3!!!) tlps, used a Clearblue today and it confirmed 2-3 weeks. OH is in shock, he was away last night with work so I waited 24hrs to tell him face to face - and stole some of muddypuddles idea!

Thank you for the support so far and I really do wish you all the best luck and lots and lots of sticky baby dust xxx
