OH has created a justgiving page for his mum to raise money for marie curie. Do you think its a good idea? He's originally from Trowbridge so thought it would be a way for people down there to show they care seeing as they can't attend the funeral x

I think it's a lovely idea. A friend of mine was at a funeral last week (from her in-laws family) and managed to miss the collection. She really wanted to donate some money to their chosen charity but didn't want to bother them afterwards. A justgiving page would be ideal for people to donate in memory of your MIL, particularly if they're not going to be able to attend the funeral.

    Hugs to you both x.

We composed a justgiving site for the boys, It was a way of letting people know what had happened without having to explain it over and over and also a way for people to do something. We said that people could send flowers if they wished or donate to charity and to make it easier gave the link. It worked well and think it is a lovely idea for your MIL.

I thought that the 2ww was bad, now I remember the 8 ww. Still don't feel any different and taking tests still. Hoping that there is something there and I am not just making it up. Councillor tonight and sure she will tell me it is perfectly normal to worry. :o

Still keeping an eye on everyone here, waiting for you all to join me.

I'm ok thanks. I'm lucky in that I'm having scans every two weeks so it's breaking things up a bit. It's like lots of 2ww's one after the other :o

Just keeping everything crossed. I'm another one who doesn't really feel that different, mostly just tired and the occasional nausea. I'm trying very hard to maintain my "there's no point worrying as it doesn't change a thing" attitude but some days are easier than others :o

Like Kitten I'm still checking on you guys and rooting for you all to get your BFPs very very soon.

    xx

when I get pg, I plan to follow the same plan, but increase my calories allowance, to make sure I don't put on too much weight.
One only needs an extra 200 calories in the last trimester when pregnant (providing you're already at a sustainable level :)). I'm sure your doc/midwife will have person specific advice at the time though :)

ETA: Ikkle, a justgiving page sounds like a grand idea. Make the most of this respite and take it easy on yourselves. Maybe get a dvd and a takeaway and curl up with DH in front of the fire? Your poor SIL :(

Aww - pleased to see you're missing us zippy - I had work today again and then I napped in the afternoon so that's why I've not been around so much. Plus, I'm worried about posting too much as we're no longer ttc and I didn't want to upset people who are feeling low. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all of your BFPs though, and lurking even if I'm not posting as much.

Hugs for all who need or want them, particularly those on CD1 or who have had bad news.

    Hello everyone.

Unfortunately my mother in law passed away at 4:50am today. She was peaceful and sleeping and that brings some comfort to us all.

Sadly she went before we had chance to tell her our news, but I think she knew really. Myself and OH are overwhelmed with different emotions at the moment, we want to be happy but it feels wrong, yet it feels equally wrong to be sad and cry. I had a few moments with her and told her we loved her and asked her to look after us and that we would miss her.
