Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I just had to share my news, with no AF for over 6 months I have a referral to a specialist
on the 9th Feb, hoping they will sort me out, ready to re-start TTC. I wonder how long it will take for my body to sort it self out...

Ikkle- HUGS- sorry for your loss, and congratulations too. My gran died just as I found out I was pregnant with my DD and I think it helped the family have a positive outlook on her passing to "send" the baby and look after us all. I'm sure you're emotionally exhausted so be really kind to yourselves the next few weeks.
I'm feeling better after my weekend throwing up but only managed BD on the 3rd day pre ov and actual day of ov yesterday so not as much as we'd have liked. I'd be due to ov again on 26th feb and we're going to the in-laws in holland for a long weekend so that could be interesting BD-ing (quietly!) in their house!!
Mrshappy- my essay is not going great, only at 800 words with not much structure to it yet. We'll see how it goes, I usually manage to pull it together as the deadline looms! I do hope to do another course- would love to do the h&sc degree but it's a long time and a lot of money to commit. What are your plans?
Hope everyone is ok, hugs if you need them.MARCH GROCERY CHALLENGE £118/ £2500 -
Secretdebts - that's what I was going to suggest, that you geared up but then didn't do. I think your cycles are still gradually getting more and more back to "normal", give it chance. I'm afraid you might have to DTD for a little while yet
Remember, the CBFM will show Peak and assume you ov'd, afaik it won't show two peaks in one cycle, so even if you get that for the trial I'd use the OPKs til they go negative too, until your cycles are more settled
Ikkle - I can only echo what everyone else has said.I'm really happy for your BFP :j But sad for the grief you're also feeling
Like TTC40 said, make sure you eat and drink regularly enough and look after yourself during this mixed up time
Time2deal (I think it was?) hopefully AF will stay away and you're just waiting on a shy BFP
AFM: Still spotting, but still a helluva lot better than the constant heavy AF!Wonder if I'll ov any time soon...

Ikkle - as others have said, so sorry for the loss of your MIL, thinking of you and OH and hope you are looking after yourself well. Congratulations, though, on your BFP, it's lovely news and I hope you will have a very healthy pregnancy, hope you can enjoy looking forward to the new life as well as grieving for your loss.0

BZ, yes, I've an HTC and it happens. I can't wait for martin to come up with a mobile version of the MSE website, we really need one, don't we?
I've reported it as a glitch on the glitch thread (relating to the new masthead etc change)

Hi, I'm new to this section of the forums *nervous wave* can I join you? I've only read back a couple of pages, this thread is quite a daunting length! I think it may take me a while to get to know you all and get the hang of all the abbreviations you guys use.
We've just started trying for our first baby this month.
My cycle started on the 3rd of Jan and last month was about 33 days long so I'm in the middle of that horrible couple of weeks between ovulation and the day AF is expected. I didn't think I was in any rush to get pregnant but the not knowing is horrible. I really feel for all those who have been through this month after month after month.
I used an ovulation calculator to guess when my most fertile days would be but my cycle hasn't settled down after coming off the pill yet so I might have been a bit off. I didn't recognise any signs of ovulating. I don't feel pregnant, it's weird to think that I might be.
Anyway, I shall know for sure by the end of the week. It's just a waiting game now...0 -

This is the hardest essay so far, I scrubbed everything I had done over the weekend and started again tonight with a different vision! 1200 words with very little positives and no conclusion. Having a bit of a block just now after hammering that lot out. My plan is h&sc degree, but one step at a time. I'm hoping that my work will support me financially at some point if they see I am committed to it, but I got nothing for this one and after this year I won't get any ILA funding which I got this year. I work full time and help look after my gran as well as having mrhappy and the teenager to deal with, so it has been hard going-and will be even harder if I eventually get my BFP!0
