    BFN. :(

At 13DPO, even though it's not FMU that's not a good sign. Quite symptomy (nausea, achy boobs, back pain) but that probably is just AF arriving. Disappointed...

Just de-lurking to say don't panic yet. I normally start AF on a Saturday night so on Sunday morning when there was nothing I did an IC which was a BFN. There was still no sign the day after so I did a digi which came up BFP straight away, so you are still in with a chance.

CD1 for me here, AF arrived before I ever had a chance to test. Pretty gutted actually, and had a little cry earlier, but there's nothing I can do about it.
I think that actively trying like this makes babymaking so much harder emotionally. I mean if you just use the NTNP method, then if you get pregnant then fantastic, but you really aren't putting any effort into it, so if its not sucessful then you haven't lost anything. But if you are using OPK's, temps, or CBFM, then they tell you approximatly when to DTD, and therefore if you don't get that BFP at the end of the month, it feels like I'm letting myself down as I've done everything humanly possible to do this.
Oh well, next month is another month.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Hi,

I know how you feel. This is when people tell you it's only 30% chance even when you do things right... but stats are not much comfort when you want it so much!

Thanks all for cheering messages! I can't help but hope of course, just trying to not get too upset. I'll leave it a few days and hope the chances are still alive. I was so hoping to be the last BFP of our bumper January. I know SS'ing isn't encouraged, but I have had on and off nausea for the last few days (which I don't normally get), and much worse boobs than normal.. so I am still hoping...

    Fingers crossed for you timetodeal.

I think stats should be banned - I wish I hadn't ready the 30% chance bit!!! That's not good odds really is it!
  • Ok ..... Anybody have any clue why I'm still getting + OPKs???? It's been over a week!!

I am sure there are many reasons for it which the girls will be able to update however have you done an HPT recently. I understand that a pregnancy can give + OPKs. Don't want to give unhelpful hope but I'm sure it has been mentioned previously.

Also, CBFMs- do they retain their value?
I think something like 6 months worth (unless you do a hard reset).
was thinking i could get on then if it was rubbish sell it on?
    Many people sell it on:)
i'd use OPKs but that would involve doing it at work and i don't want to do that :/
Oh, and speaking of them, the pictures on amazon make me smile cos the second one is 'woman with CBFM behind her back approaching man' and the third is 'man taking different woman up the stairs'. if swapping partners is how you make a baby then that explains our lack of luck lol

    Hello everyone.

Unfortunately my mother in law passed away at 4:50am today. She was peaceful and sleeping and that brings some comfort to us all.

Sadly she went before we had chance to tell her our news, but I think she knew really. Myself and OH are overwhelmed with different emotions at the moment, we want to be happy but it feels wrong, yet it feels equally wrong to be sad and cry. I had a few moments with her and told her we loved her and asked her to look after us and that we would miss her.
