QQ I'm ok - just been sleeping again as I've not worked today (no call), so I made the most of being able to have an afternoon nap. The nausea has started, so it's making me feel a bit yuck, and sleeping seems to help a bit. I think I'm a bit run down anyway from the virus that I obviously had (tonsils up etc last week), so it probably wasn't a bad thing that I didn't get a call for work. I'm working tomorrow morning, and hopefully won't get asked anywhere for the afternoon, as I know that if it's the class I had last week, they're a bit of a challenge, and I don't get a teaching assistant all morning either (top sets). I haven't told my agency or the place I do invigilation yet, as I'm still only 5+3, and I don't have my booking in appointment until February 10th, so my first scan is a way off yet. Anyway, enough moaning from me - how are you doing?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I assumed that you would have but thought I would ask.:rotfl:

If you have PCOS that can give false positives and tests which aren't as sensitive should be used instead but you haven't had these problems before. Hmmm

Ps. Are you testing with IC? as even when + mine were looking -.

Using the same sticks as on my other two cycles that I had definite positives then were negative after :(. Roll on the delivery of the cbfm & sticks is all I can say. I'd rather keep my own pee in the fridge that not be sure like this. I'm gonna disappear & do some serious googling now!!

    4. What if my OPK is positive for several days in a row? It is possible, in a normal ovulation, to have a positive OPK for several days in a row. This is because LH peaks (surges) about 12-36 hours before ovulation occurs, and then dissipates. So, you could theoretically detect this high level of LH with positive OPK's from the time it begins to the time it dissipates-- over 36 hours.
It is also possible that your body is "gearing up" to ovulate, and you have an LH surge-- and then, for some reason (such as stress, illness, travel, or random fluke), your body fails to release an egg . . . then tries, tries again ASAP with another, or overlapping, surge. If you see a positive OPK for longer than 3 consecutive days, your egg is probably just having a little trouble getting out of the starting gate. If this happens to you occasionally, it's no big deal. If it happens a lot, talk to your doctor. (I just play one on the Internet :p)

I'm so sorry about your MIL Ikkle, at least she didn't suffer for long. Congratulations on the BFP, I'd like to think that it's a gift from your MIL :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hello everyone.

Unfortunately my mother in law passed away at 4:50am today. She was peaceful and sleeping and that brings some comfort to us all.

Sadly she went before we had chance to tell her our news, but I think she knew really. Myself and OH are overwhelmed with different emotions at the moment, we want to be happy but it feels wrong, yet it feels equally wrong to be sad and cry. I had a few moments with her and told her we loved her and asked her to look after us and that we would miss her.

    Ditto to everyone else's comments.

Take time to grieve but also make sure you look after yourself - remember to eat and drink. This can often be forgotten at time like this when routines are out of sorts and you are upset.

Hoping you have a healthy 9 months.
