Does anyone know if you have to use FMU for a HPT? I have my hands on a test finally... and not sure I can wait until tomorrow!

FMU is preferable, but if you can't wait then you could just hold your pee for an hour or so and limit your fluid intake that should give you quite concentrated urine.

    morning everyone,

so sorry to hear of your news ikkle, bad news tinged with good must be a very emotional time for you at the moment, i really feel for you. i really hope you can find some peace from the situation and sending you hugs

thanks nikki, for giving me some advice, going to try and keep an eye on my cm this month and learn something new this month :) Nearly 30 years of age and still learning about my body!

we b'd last night and we are going to try the every other day technique because it would be a push to do it everyday, dont think oh would know what hit him if we did. :rotfl: so hopefully in doing that we will hopefully get the right time somewhere there!

Hugs for ikkle, and fingers crossed your tlp is now a BFP.

skintchick sending hugs your way - sounds like you're going through it at the moment too.

Gorky - yes that is the cough mixture I used the month I got my BFP.

Good luck with the test time2deal.

Morning all! I am very very excited and only you ladies will understand - I just got EWCM!!!

I realised I have totally miscounted my CD days so the Bding last week was all at the wrong time, I am actually CD19 today, so should have Ovd over the weekend, but thankfully I seem to be heading towards it today!! :D Haven;t had EWCM since the mc in November so am very pleased and think my spa weekend away has relaxed me enough to OV. I have been so down and stressed since the last mc, but the time to myself has really chilled me out.

So we will be DTD for the next three nights as per SMEP and hopefully I will get a result this month.

so QQ, can you please change me to CD19 0DPO, testing Feb 14 (or thereabouts).

I cant belive how excited I am about the EWCM, I am literally beaming and laughing and dancing round the room with DD! It's reeeeaaaallly stretchy too, so good fertile stuff :D

ETA - actually I've edited as I got my CD wrong again. Probably should have OVd last week or over weekend, it's definitely late but its here! That's what counts :)

I usually hold my wee for 3-4 hours while not drinking too much in that time, should be concentrated enough by then. Often, my FMU is only 4 hours old anyway if I get up with DD in the night. There's nothing special about the morning wee, its just usually the most concentrated (I used to think there was something important about it being overnight wee, lol).

This was me last Tuesday! I was SO overexcited about getting EWCM, was beaming all morning and kept on telling DH how much I loved him :rotfl: I didn't share the EWCM news with him but even so he kept on saying 'it's only because you want my sperm that you keep saying you love me' (obviously I didn't tell him he was partly right...). Good luck for all the BDing this week skintchick and hope you get your BFP on Valentine's Day :)

You need to collect CM. Easiest way is to put two clean fingers either side of your cervix and gently squeeze. You will then get enough to examine.

At the risk of sounding like a complete dunce, I have no idea how to do that!!

Tea Lover - that's not duncey - I was thinking the same thing!

Skint Chick - glad to hear about the EWCM! Hope its a good month for you.

3 dpo for me today. Find this whole 2WW thing so hard. Does anyone else use any other websites/chat places? I discovered a whole world on baby and bump last night that was a bit dangerous. 2 hours after reading their CBFM thread from nearly start to finish and there was only 1 BFP!!! They do have cool smilies for BFP and BFN though!
