I had a rough day on Friday. My friend came round and while our DDs were playing suddenly blurted out 'I'm pregnant'. It was such a shock, no buiild-up or anything, that i burst into tears. She knows my history, hence wanting to tell me, but she did it so BADLY. She's the last of our mummy group to get PG/give birth to her second, so now I feel really left out and like they are all leaving me behind.

Because I was so upset by it, literally devastated, a sobbing mess on the sofa after she left, I forgot I was supposed to go out with a friend and she texted, so I phoned to apologise and explain, and she just let rip, effing and blinding at me, she called DD 'your !!!!ing child' and it was just awful. We've not spoken since, I know I forgot but she was so out of order.

THen I went to a spa hotel with my other mate for the weekend, ti was lovely, nice treatments, lovely wine, full night's sleep (!), and then shopping today at one of those discount villages, got a few dresses.

Sadly I lost the bracelet that my (shouty) friend (ex-friend?) gave me for my birthday only on monday, and have also discovered DD has taken my card with my self-assessment (tax) login on so I will now get a £100 fine

So it's been a mixed weekend. Was also first time I've ever left DD overnight so it was quite odd. She missed me but not as much as I'd have liked, Still wanted Daddy to put her to bed.

I've done that. Not in the shop, in the car afterwards. Would love to do it in store and then not pay unless it was a BFP!

How strange. The other day I remember we were posting on here about people posting their ttc status on facebook and how sort of odd that was. I posted about someone I know, who used to put things like 'ttc month no.1!' etc. And how she had 1 baby, and then later on had twins. And how she must have thought ttc was very easy because each time after about 3 months she got pg.

Well, shes now just posted on another thread about how the first baby actually took 2 years and in the end taking fertility drugs ( I guess maybe clomid or something?), and they were on a waiting list for IUI when it happened. And used the same drugs to get pg with the twins.

So not really sure what all those statuses were about before now, but really does show you never really know what goes on with other people!

I think even if she hadnt posted the ttc statuses, I would have been guilty for assuming she was mid/late twenties and had 3 kids so must have had it easy!

Ikkle - I hope you get to tell MIL your BFP news. No wonder you're so mixed up/upset etc You know where we all are.

Forgotten anything else, but have been reading up. Was getting fed up posting on and on about my continual bleeding, so been busying myself with other things. Got GP appt for Tues arvo when I'll discuss it with him etc but :shhh: she might be on the way out now, but :shhh: shhhh she might hear you! :shhh: Got first appt with new dentist tomorrow too, so hopefully I'll be able to get these temporary fillings replaced ASAP and start chewing on both sides of my mouth soon! Also hoping that the lockdown at MIL's hospital gets lifted (they've banned visiting across the whole hospital cos of an outbreak of suspected Norovirus!:shocked:) so we can a) visit b) get her transferred to a rehabilitation centre ASAP before she catches anything else!

Wow, that was epic but I am now caught up on everything! I apologise in advance to anyones news that I missed but I had to go back to the 5th of Jan and that's a lot of posts!

First a big huge massive congratulations to all those who have their BFP's this month (I think it was 11 and Ikkle's tlp) Ikkle - I hope yours becomes a BFP too. I am so sorry to hear about your MIL I hope things go as well as can be for you all. xxx

I am so pleased as well for those BFP's that have come after a particularly hard and emotional journey for some of you.

Welcome to all the newbies, hope your stay is short and sweet.

Now for me, no BFP to add to the list sadly I am now CD12 I reckon (as of the 30/01). It's very strange this TTC journey. I have two children who are 7 and 9 this year who were both surprises. I had them young (18 and 20). In fact with my second I didn't find out I was pregnant until 14 weeks gone and had been taking my pill every day all that time. So although this will be my third I have never actively TTC before. Both my babies were conceived in June and in my head that's when I think I will conceive again. I hope it is before then though!

My brother and wife have begun their adoption journey (few attempts at IUI with a donor egg have failed) so I am crossing everything I have. My best friend in the whole world who has been TTC her first for 3 years has finally been given the go ahead to TTC after 4 miscarriages. Some tests carried out has led to her being prescribed medication that will hopefully enable her to carry full term (she has never got past 10 weeks).

That's pretty much it for me. xxx

CD11 and CBFM still comes up as highly fertile. It's been 5 days so should peak soon, shouldn't it? We haven't bd much this weekend, managed only once, I was still bleeding on Saturday. The bleeding stopped by Sunday morning, this was a mega-long period. I will make sure we BD tonight as OH is having his op tmrw and I don't think we will do much after. We are out for this month, I guess.

Ikkle - so sorry to hear about your MIL, sounds like she's getting the best care to make the last days easier though, hope you can tell her about a BFP, and that it gives you both some comfort to have a happy event to look forward to this year.

BZ - fingers crossed AF's coming to an end, it must be pretty draining for you.

5dpo here, and my temp was very low this morning. have been googling implantation dip ever since I got to work, must go and do something useful :rotfl:

Nothing to report here, just the 2ww and wondering if I did actually OV and really hoping that this cycle will be shorter than 60 days! I went to the Museum of Childhood in London yesterday and there were loads of adorable kids there, including a brand new baby which turned me to mush... I want one!

ikkle - massive hugs. I so, so hope your tlp turns into a bfp, and then a happy and healthy pg. I think I'm wishing it more for you than for me this month!! How daft is that?? It's not like we can't both have one!

Still not sure whether I've ov'd or not. There was a bit of what I thought was EWCM on thursday, but not much. We BD every other day last week, so I'll try to continue with that and hopefully we will catch it - whenever it is! I'm on CD25, and my cycles are usually somewhere between 34 and 49 days, so that doesn't help narrow it down much.

I'm now getting worried that every other day isn't enough but I just don't think we can manage anymore than that. I'm fine during the moment itself, but can end up with really bad pain afterwards (from endo). Not sure I can face that everyday tbh.
