...well you're awake, why not make sure he wakes up happy? ;) x x

Didn't get the chance - he phoned me up :rotfl:and asked if I was coming back to bed!

I suppose it's better than banging on the ceiling to get my attention (although it would have been better if he had bothered to clean his teeth).

He did ask if he did that again next week would I come back to bed - told him no chance :rotfl:.

Hopefully we will BD again tonight & then our work is done! I must admit I had never considered how much activity is required.

Just hope that OH's swimmers are actually good ones. At this point we don't know that.

Obviously I'm hoping that we have a successful month. If we don't, I am going to order a pack of 20 CB 'smiley face' OPKs (about £30 on Amazon) and not use CBFM next month.

TeamLowe - you are not out yet, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Ttc40 - good luck with bding, if you are bding at right times you are always in with a chance.

I am on cd8 and high on cbfm which is about right for me so will bd today/tonight and then again over next few days up until 2 days after ov and hope it is successful.

Nicki, Primmer, Mrsj28, Mintedby30, Time2deal, Definitely blond, mrshappy, snowyz81, QQ and TTC40 thank you for the warm welcome.

QQ I'm 28 this year (not long now :) )

I'm so excited now by all TTC bussines :). We did some practice today so hopeful next cycle we'll perform well LOL. Speaking of which, when is the best time to BD and how often? Not sure if my hubby's swimmers are alright but let's say they are, should we BD every other day from day 10-12 (my cycles are 32-40 days long ) and when ovulation is confirme, every day? Is that OK?

  • hi I'm still so confused about when my most fertile time would be to get the most sex in. As I understand it, it should be ovulation day and the two days prior to ovulation day? Does that sound right to you?

You might want to google SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) for some advice which some people 'work' to.

    Afternoon ladies :)
Nowt to report here, think I'm 4dpo and trying not to think about ttc too much. Not easy though we went to a dinner party with our close group of friends last night and the 2 girls that are getting married this year were talking about when they'll start trying etc. I got a lot of questions about our plans, but I managed to deflect most of them. Probably helped that I was driving, and they were all quite tipsy ;)
DH had rather too much to drink and wanted to gave a heart to heart when we got home. He said he's really excited about us having a baby, but he's trying to be restrained normally in case it takes a long time. This was all mixed in with lots of "I really really love you...." and slurring though :rotfl:
Anyway hopefully we and our friends will all catch this year and have babies close in age :)
QQ can you add me to the testing list for monday 6th as that's when af is due. Will try and resist testing early next weekend ;)

Thanks for that. I've learned something new today, SMEP :D.

I'm overwhelmed by the the amount of info about TTC .

I will stick with BBT and CM plus OPKs and see how it goes...

    Welcome Aida!

QQ, I'm still getting high on the CBFM but def haven't ovulated yet so it's not 1DPO.

All good here, going for a swim soon. Feel rather tired though so not sure it's a good idea.
Saw a friend yest who started to TTC last week, I felt so clever when she was asking questions:). It's all down to you, Ladies:).

    Have a good Sunday Everyone!

Welp, looks like CD1 for me, just wiped and old blood, cervix has fresh red blood :(
    PMA list
    1) getting myself all hopeful does not make me an idiot. I want this badly so of course I'm going to be hopeful.
    2) no symptom spotting next month, especially no cervix feeling. I should've known from my mmc that my body can't be trusted.
    3) more time to pay off debts/build house deposit
    4) only a week late, which is much better than last month. In fact, if I count from the end of last month's bleeding rather than the beginning, then it's still 35 days, which is great
    4) if something comes back as being wrong in the blood tests, then I would want to pause TTC until its sorted.
    5) more time to follow bigzippy's example and lose some weight
    6) only two more cycles until I cab have cd1 and 21 tests done x x
