ladies, can anyone familiar with temping take a look at my chart here. I've been doing it a week, and apart from the obviously high temps over the weekend when we were out friday and saturday, it looks really variable to me still.
How big a rise is it normal to see after ov? will I be able to pick it out easily?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
just make sure you're near a toilet about half an hour after eating. suprising how quickly things can go through you on that stuff! :rotfl:
Really?
Bit of a TMI post here, but sorry - I need to know!
I've had an upset stomach this afternoon, but bizarely I always get one to some degree on the first day of my period anyway (does anybody else get this, btw?)
I thought it was either because of CD1 or because I had re-started up on my pre-natal vits (which also give me a dodgy tummy), but I had to make a mad dash. But is this the meds, even though Im only on 500mg?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
arghhh how on earth am I going to escape the chocolate tonight? I've got to go to a meeting that a couple of us at the club have organised to sort out something for the Queen's Jubillee, so there's about 40 representatives coming from other village organisations. I've been asked to organise the tea and biscuits for tonight, and they want choccy biscuits! How will I resist a plate of them while pouring cuppas?
As for whoever said about lying down after dtd etc. I don't use a pillow or anything but that's because my butt is that big it doesn't make any difference. I don't know if its a fable if the pillow works or not and laying down, but I lend to go to sleep straight after dtd so don't get up for at least another 6 hours. Hope thats long enough ;DRemember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Me too, I kind of feel responsible for pushing for the op:o
The doctor did say she doesn't have long if she doesn't have the op, so it seemed logical at the time...
Hope everything goes swimminglyReally?

yes I do, but I have ibs too and any hormone changes seen to upset it. The metformin can make you nauseous and/or have diahrea (sp?). I am on 500mg twice a day, and I weaned myself on to it at first so the reaction wouldn't be so severe. After a couple of weeks I was used to it and out didn't make me feel like that. You should make sure to take it with food though."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
BZ snap - IBS here too! Corr, we are a right pair, eh!
TBH, I don't care so much if it DOES make me nauseous, I want it to help me lose weight! The only way I can stop putting food in my gob these days is to feel sick.
<-- Just ordered a chinese. *rolls eyes at self*
How is everything else going BZ?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

How is everything else going BZ?The D-rear is not good though, and upsetting your IBS too much will just drive you crazy, especially if it makes you feel too lousy at ov time. What dose did they put you on?
On the same, vaguely related, topic - have a read up about chromium, especially with regards to PCOS. It's supposed to help with sugar cravings, and help your body with insulin etc, so could be worth a try for you too? At Holland & Barratt they have them in the BOGOfor 1p sale atm
AFM still got boringly heavy AF, and I think it's making me weak and a bit anaemic. Along with that, general exhaustion from the stress and hospital visiting, and a cold type virus I'm busily cultivating(which doesn't help with the hospital visiting
). MIL is still hanging on right now...
DH's SA sample was good, I've lost 1lb short of 3st now, and my cycles are getting shorter steadily, so hopefully it's only a matter of time

Evening ladies,
I had a call for work seconds after I posted, and I've literally switched the computer on as soon as I've got home. Thank you so much for all of your congratulations - I've shown them to Moon too.
Massive hugs Nicki - hope your DD's test results are clear, and that you've got a lot of support around you.
cleofish - sending hugs for the BFN. Hope you get a BFP soon.
2b - yes I did do something different this time around - I took the Mr T chesty cough syrup with the main ingredient guanaifesin (or however you spell it) - 2 medicine spoonfuls 3x a day until the first peak on my CBFM, and I took it from CD1 I think. We also DTD on the first high of CBFM, on the first and second peak. It may have been the first high that got it though, as we normally don't bother until a bit closer to ovulation, and I'm wondering if the CBFM was picking up my surge a bit late? I stayed lying down for around 10 minutes eache time we BD this time too, and sometimes I didn't used to bother. I also get a bit of an upset tummy just before AF, and also have IBS - IBS is affected by hormonal changes as well as stress and changes to diet, so this may be why. That was another reason I suspected this month, as I have the opposite problem at the moment. Hugs for CD1, and hope the metformin works for you and DS is feeling better soon.
Fingers crossed for you Flee that this is your month.
borokat - hope you get your BFP tomorrow.
rumfeeble I have the same reaction to BFPs IRL and on here as you do - excited for online and jealous for IRL usually - it's perfectly normal, and we all go through these feelings, so please don't think this makes you a horrible person. You're only human.
QQ I hope that the op goes well, and that your MIL is much better soon. I feel even more official now I've had the QQ smiley BFP post.
Welcome welshgirl - I hope you get a BFP soon.
zcrat - I've told Moon that he may as well continue to take his "man pills" as they'll do him good anyway.
TeamLowe - keeping my fingers crossed that those First Response tests give you your BFP - I'll be waiting impatiently to hear the news of the results. I know exactly what you mean about covincing yourself every month. This was month 11 for us. I remember the earlier months almost being harder than when we got to 6 months, as by then, I'd started convincing myself that I wasn't pregnant each month, so I wouldn't be disappointed. I only tested once early on with a First Response, and haven't done a test up until now since as I was scared to see the results.
zippy I hope you managed to get some nice sleep if you managed to get back to sleep again. Sending massive hugs to you, and thank for doing the "in the style of sexymouse" it was really touching. Any predictions for anyone else on the thread? Maybe you have BFP intuition.
tealover I hope your pain eases, and the doctor can give you something safe to take. We only DTD 3 times this cycle, so a bit less than normal, so I think timing has as much to do with it as anything else.
BezzyK we were convinced there was something wrong with both of us, and were all set to go to the doctor this month if AF showed up, so don't give up hope - maybe the fact that you're thinking along those lines will tempt fate to deliver the BFP you so deserve.
Kavics - sending massive hugs to you - so sorry to hear you're on CD1. Hoping this means you're one step closer to your BFP.
Timetodeal - I started getting symptoms at 6DPO (got crampy feelings similar to period pains) - not that I'm trying to encourage you to symptom spot or anything.
Hope I've not missed anyone - hugs and chocolate to all who need or want some.

Thansk SM - how did Moon take the news? How did you tell him?
Can I ask, if you have a bottle to hand, how much guafinesin (sp?!) is in the mr t bottle... I have some meds with it from the states, but dont want to overdose!
and you took 2 x 5ml spoonfuls, three times a day? Did you notice a difference with your CM then, as Im guessing thats what its for?
xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Got the bottle - guaifenesin BP = 100mg per 5ml. I took 10ml (2x5ml spoons) 3 times a day (maximum dosage on the bottle for a cough). Yes it did make my CM a lot thinner. I didn't use the conceive plus this cycle, as I was lubricated enough naturally because of this. Mr T cough mixture is cherry flavoured, so I liked the taste too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
