Sexymouse - chuffed to see you've got your BFP x0

Hi all.
I'm testing tomorrow, but my instincts are telling me not to get my hopes up - I feel quite pre menstrualQQ, glad MIL decided to have the op! Hope it all goes well.
The doctor did say she doesn't have long if she doesn't have the op, so it seemed logical at the time...0 -
It doesn't annoy me when young girls are on OBEM, my mum had my brother when she was 16. The father left as soon as he learnt that mum was expecting and that was in the early 70s. It's kind of interesting to see how she must have felt but than the 70s were different. My mum met my father when she was 7 months pregnant with my brother and they got together just after the birth. They have been together over 40 years and had 3 other kids together. My brother doesn't have his surname but as far as he knows my father is his father.
Just in case I've offended anyone (eek - sorry!), I'm not generally annoyed by young mums, old mums, single mums, 10th time mums, mums of triplets or anyone else - but yesterday I could have happily slapped anyone who'd ever dared to get pg. I am now having a medicinal twirl (of the chocolate variety) to cheer me up and it's working a treat0 -

Congrats sexymouse!!
I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months.
Thats 2 BFP's on here in just a couple of days, how wonderfull. Funny how seeing other ladies on here getting BFP's feels exciting and I'm so pleased for them, yet quite a few times in RL I find myself feeling a bit jealous when a friend tells me they are pg. Is it something to do with us all being in the same boat here and feeling like we *deserve* it because we are trying sooooo hard? Does thinking that make me a bad person? If at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -
- is irritability a sign of impending ov?? Or am I getting my hopes up for no reason?
I am wondering the same - am super irritable today, just like PMT but on CD 13 and without the pain! I don't usually whinge about my DH (try not to anyway..) but.... for a moment... why can't men load a dishwasher properly? And why did he put all his clean t shirts back into the dirty laundry so I had to wash them again?
Ok, rant over, I have a lovely husband really..... I am a bit of a monster today , think I need to go and find some chocolate...0 -
.. and yesterday was very clumsy while doing the washing up which is always a sign I am due!
LOL! Me too. I'm a liability when I'm due on. And I always notice it when I'm doing the washing up.
Remember though, it's probably the progesterone that makes you clumsy when you're due and you get high levels of progesterone when you're pg too so, really, it's neither here nor there if you feel clumsy. No rumfeeble, I don't think that thinking that makes you a bad person, in fact I bet most of the people on here think that at one time or another. I certainly do. I don't begrudge people getting pregnant or having families, how ever old they are or their capabilities, I just think that me and OH have got so much love to give a child and a lovely kind home, that we deserve our go as well.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Well done on the loss Dundeediva, enjoy your well earned Twirl!
I haven't had any chocolate of the tasty milk chocolate variety in 11 days (not that I'm counting) and would kill for a Twirl! I had a little nibble on some 85% dark chocolate at the weekend but it doesn't really hit the spot like Cadburys does!I keep trying to tell myself that I don't *need* it though and I'm well aware that the minute I cheat and eat something naughty then I'll go off the rails and wake up the next day surrounded by pizza boxes, chip cartons, an empty box of chocolates and a couple of crumpled Doritos bags! :rotfl:
Good news about your MIL QQ, hope the dates work out in your favourOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
