Morning Ladies,
AFter a stressful 12 days AF finally arrived this morning so CD1 for me pls. I am going to use the CBFM this month as well as cheap internet ovulation sticks (as I have like 30 left). OH has his op on the 31st and predicted ov should be on the 6th, just hoping that he will be well enough for some BD. I'm ok though, I found the limbo state very sad and emotional, now that AF is here I am just looking forward to ovulation. The test results are in - I've got my BFP. Moon and I can't stop smiling.
I will definitely not stop posting on this thread for a while though, as all of you ladies are my friends, and I want to be there when you get your BFPs too.

Congratulations!!! And pls don't stop posting!moneypuddle wrote: »Quick question - after BDing what does everyone do? I have been laying on my back, with a pillow under my bum to tilt my uterus and stop sperm coming out, for about 20 minutes. Is this long enough? What does everyone else do? *nosey*
I lie down for about 10 min, I can't manage longer. After yesterday watching OBEM my OH said that not to worry he was sure that the 18yr old wasn't lying down at all, probably got sh...d in the corner of a room standing up:cool:. Yes, that's my OH.Its a bit complicated really, and I don't want to post the whole story because I know it would make upsetting reading for at least one and maybe more than one poster on this thread. In a nutshell though, she came home from school with very very odd bruising which no one could explain and I immediately suspected something awful and got really really upset. Took her to a paediatrician yesterday who based on the appearance and location of the brusing was able to put our minds at rest that they were not caused by any human intervention, but then went on to say that in his opinion they were also very very unlikely to have been accidentally incurred, and most likely to be a symptom of a blood disorder. So we flipped from devastating grief to intense worry about her in a nano second. The plan is to observe and photograph her for more bruising over the course of the next week, then take her back for review in a week, when they will do blood tests if any new unexplained bruises have appeared, or her existing ones have not completely disappeared.
It is really really hard because she can't communicate well enough to explain what happened to cause them, even if she knew.
Hugs Nicki, hope all is good with DD.
Not sure who asked but I am sure every month I'm pregnant even though the tests say otherwise:o.0 -
Oh I forgot to say welcome to Welshgirl before!
Hugs for CD1 Kavics, at least it's finally hereOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
KAvics - hugs for CD 1 but your OH comment made me chuckle! I'm trying the CBFM for the first time this month too. Had to POAS for the first time this am - it takes a while to get a result and made me late for work! I'll have to get up a bit earlier I think. Very impressed with whoever got up at 4am to BD - neither I nor OH could do that in a million years!
Nicki - sounds like you're going through a pretty tough time. Hope you're able to look after yourself as well as everyone else.0 -
Congratulations Sexymouse! Im not going to lie it brought a tear to my eye, Im really so happy for you. :T :j:T:j
Kavics - my OH said something similar about she prob had sex once and that was it! :mad:0 -
congratulations sexymouse! hope you have a happy and healthy nine months
:j:j:j:j
for ladies that have been trying longer than me, can i ask (if you don't mind) if you convince yourself you're pregnant each month? this is only our second cycle officially trying but i've convinced myself every month since we lost our angel. even for a few days after AF comes i still have suspicions lol just feel totally mental and like how will i ever tell the difference when i actually am? i guess you can't til you get that wonderful test
even now, i'm pretty sure i'm not, but i'm like 'usually when i don't think something i'm waiting for is going to happen, that's when it does, so i must be this month'
i mean, i'm pretty relaxed about it taking a long time cos i know that i have PCOS so it's not like i'm panicking each month thinking 'what's wrong, why hasn't it happened yet' because i know why it hasn't. and the disappointment when AF comes is only for that day.
it's the 2ww that's killing me. i guess i never have had much patience.
well that was an unexpected ramble lol x x
congrats Sexymouse! Great news.
TeamLowe, I think someone here said the other day they can convince themselves they may be pregnant when in full AF flow! I think I certainly can convince myself at the start - especially as mine are very light and short, so I can almost convince myself it didn't really happen.
Insanity seems to go hand in hand with ttc.:rotfl:
I am trying hard no to get started on ss this month. Since I am 1 or 2dpo it seems somewhat optimisitic... yet I have still started imagining things this morning!0 -
