Glad u said that about AF not coming....i was exactly the same ie if i missed just one pill in the past, i would find AF turning up within a day or so! But now......nothing. And it sounds pathetic but i keep hoping that it isnt turning up cos i have caught straight away but i know that reality is i wont have lol!

Just finished watching Call the Midwife on BBC1. It was a historical drama about midwives in the East End of London, based on the author's experiences as a nurse. It was really interesting to watch. If you missed it, I'd recommend watching it on i-player if you're interested.

Ive Sky+ it. I couldnt make DH watch it after alrady subjecting him to OBEM, Dancing on Ice, Desperate Housewives and other such things already this week :rotfl:

Things are weird here too. Although I am bleeding, it is much lighter than my periods usually are, and I am the sort of tired I normally only get when I am in early pregnancy. Except I'm not pregnant. At 5pm I literally could not stay awake any more and went to bed, woke up at 9pm! And I'm still tired. I never get like this except when PG so it's all very strange. Anyone got any thoughts? I don't feel ill.

I've had months like that Skintchick where I've ended up testing again after AF has started or even after it has just finished because I've still felt pregnant, but that's never been how its turned out for me. Some people though do have a period but are still pregnant so that flicker of hope is always there. I guess you should keep up a healthy lifestyle and wait and see what the next few weeks bring. If you don't show any signs of ovulating in about 2 weeks time you could do a cheap HPT then just to put your mind at rest.

cbfm - clearblue fertility monitor - a monitor that measures when you're ovulating.
dpo - days past ovulation

i'm an idiot.

I've been using OPK's but reading them straight away and binning them thinking the results are ready and there is only one line. Left one on the side earlier and just been back in bathroom and there are 2 lines, although still negative, so from now on i need to wait the full 5 minutes for results. Feel happier now as was worried I had bought duds lol.
