well the weekend away did us wonders, lovely to have some much time with DH without too much technology to distract him lol had a toast on saturday night to our angel, so i hope she heard us and knows how much we love her and miss her. hope she chooses her little brother or sister to send to us soon :o
managed to BD both days as well which is great as i felt some pains this morning so think i might be ovulating (so i'll try and see if i can get another one in tonight :p) which would be right on time for a 14 day lp in a 35 day cycle so fingers crossed!

I'm glad you had a good time and I'm sure your angel will send you a forever baby soon.

i've been tracking things to spot ov symptoms including cervical mucus so i have question for you all...how long before OV should i have it for or is it a case of every woman's different? in my little book of madness, i had two days of stick (thursday friday) then two days of EWCM. today it seems to have dried up a little again. so i hope this is another sign i've OVed but maybe i'm SSing that too! :rotfl: we'll carry on with the every 2-3 days anyway, i want DH to be in the habit and i think he'll be less stressed if he's no idea when O might happen, cos he did say on sunday he felt a little pressured to perform, but off his own back rather than from me cos i said several times he didn't have to finish x x

CM usually dries up or goes sticky or creamy after ov. Fingers crossed you caught the eggy :)

    xx

    Afternoon all :)
CD2 for me, and i've got awful cramps, really don't want to be at work today! :o Plus I'm stuck at my desk with paperwork instead of being in the lab, boo! :(

My BBT has been dispatched, and I've set up my FF homepage for charting http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/LMoog so I'll be starting that as soon as it arrives. Still no decision from DH on if we're officially trying now or waiting til March/April, but I'm hoping I can convince him by ov time :p if not then I'll have a few cycles of temping to really pinpoint ov

I've just been invited to a friend's hen night at the end of March, fingers crossed I'll be pg and have to come up with a good excuse for not drinking ;)

    Hugs for CD1 ladies

Hello Littlemog on cd2 like me!!! :D:D:D

Ems - how are you feeling any SS????

    Misk - have you tested??????

Thank you for the lists Sexy mouse. :A

In work today DD1 is now poorly with strep throat her whole face & neck has swollen up  Just getting over DD2 being unwell now DD1 has something :o best put my house in Quarantine :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Had a LONG talk with DH yesterday about TTC as feeling quite low about things at the moment. Really thought that operation CC would have done it but guess not...........we were at it like rabbits too :rotfl::o;):p

DH keeps telling me not to stress over it.........easier said then done...........I guess keep trying if it's meant to be and all that. At least I have two children at the end of the day. :o I know some people never get that far so I should count myself lucky. :o
If you can think it........it will happen
  • I am going to be brave and stop lurking here and introduce myself properly.

I had the coil removed in Oct, so 3rd month trying now. Like others I thought 1 BD and that would be it to begin with :rotfl:

I am trying to be relaxed about this, but that’s really not my style :p Husband doesn’t want to be “put off” by knowing any details and we are a weekend only couple usually, so I think next month I might order some ovulation sticks.

Currently think that I am about 1/2DPO and have 34 (ish) day cycles, so 24th is testing date for me if I last that long.

Thanks for all your help and advice - it has been invaluable already

Hugs for Tinks and LittleMoog for CD1 and really big hugs for T-Sil :(

Massive hugs for KittenPie too, I think about you a lot (not in a weird way I swear!) and I really hope that your angel boys get a little brother or sister to watch over soon.

That was really nice of your Skintchick to return the bag, things like that really should be the norm but sadly few people are willing to put themselves out for strangers, luckily you found the bag before some low-life who'd have taken all the cards!

    Congratulations Kittycat! :j

I'm feeling really blue today. My brother rang me yesterday afternoon to tell me that his wife is PG, which has left me feeling both :D and :(. They'd been trying for a whole 2 weeks, and despite my SIL knowing that we're TTC and have been for a few months now, she rambled on about how easy it was and how she just knew last week that she was PG and all of her symptoms and I just wanted to say, 'I'm happy for you but please go away so I can have a cry now!' :o OH was really clingy after that, claimed he was comforting me but I think he needed just as many cuddles as I did. :o What sucks is that I've got no-one to talk to about it, I can't tell my best friends as they're friendly with SIL and they don't want anyone to know until the 12 weeks has passed, I can't talk about it at work as they don't know I'm TTC, I'd normally talk to mum but she's going to be over the moon excited so I can't say anything and I know that I'm just being petty and jealous! I had a feeling that she'd get PG before me but the reality has hit me quite hard. :(

QQ, can I just ask about your OH's hernia/fertility issues? What happened? OH has a criss-cross scar on his ahem...'danglies' apparently down to a hernia op when he was really little then had another op a few years ago to fix another hernia that was causing more 'danglies' issues and I'm a little concerned that there could be a problem there. :o

    Yay Kittycat! :j

Hugs Birdie - I'm sure your time will come.

Thanks for the sympathy girls :) I know I'm being silly, I should be delighted that I'm about to be an auntie... but we all know that when it comes to TTC not everything is as clear cut as that! :o Last night OH said that he didn't want to go to a family gathering until we're PG as he doesn't want to have to enthuse about SIL's baby knowing that we don't have one on board yet, I have to say I feel the same which is awful. :o

Everyone I know who is/has been PG concieved fairly quickly and everything went well from start to finish; I can't help but worry that the odds are against me since the statistics have to come from somewhere and if I know a lot of people with textbook pregnancies and peerfect babies then I must be the exception... but I'm just having a bad day and over-thinking! :o

Focussing on the positive; I've just started my new diet today and so far have managed to avoid coffee, normally I'd have had at least 2 cups by now so feeling virtuous... and gagging for caffiene! ;) Got a bet with OH that I can lose 12lbs in 6 weeks or I have to pay for a night in a hotel so the pressure is on!

Something to bear in mind is that for people who we might think 'everything went well from start to finish' - we don't know that it did as they may have had a difficult time but not talked about it.

I'm ok thanks. Keep switching to feeling really optimistic to feeling like I'm just waiting for it all to end :o - that's probably some ss for you, mood swings :p
I've had a bit of nausea on and off since the evening of 12DPO, occasional stabbing pains in my boobs (they never really got that sore last time), bit of a stuffy nose. Mostly it's just the tiredness, DH may have to get used to cooking the dinners again :p

You've had quite a lot on at the moment so the added stress probably hasn't helped. Even though I was temping and using ov sticks this month, it definitely felt more relaxed with the BDing and the consumption of christmas drinks. Having time off work I think really helped because we could BD more often. Could you and your OH get away for a few days to relax?

It's not a bad thing to want more children. Just because you have some already doesn't mean that TTCing isn't as hard on you or the disappointments as tough. There's a forever baby waiting out there for you :)
