Ok so after going on and on about how I dont test early I may have buckled and tested this morning (13DPO) used an IC and a superdrug. Both BFPs. I'm happy but so so very scared. DH of course is also happy. The only thing we can do know is take each day as it comes. :o

    xx

:j:j Another stalker just coming out of the woodwork to wish you many congratulations Emsbet!! I have been silently watching you... so pleased, hope this one is a really sticky one... see you on the pregnancy thread xx :T

Hugs for Tinks and LittleMoog for CD1 and really big hugs for T-Sil :(

Massive hugs for KittenPie too, I think about you a lot (not in a weird way I swear!) and I really hope that your angel boys get a little brother or sister to watch over soon.

That was really nice of your Skintchick to return the bag, things like that really should be the norm but sadly few people are willing to put themselves out for strangers, luckily you found the bag before some low-life who'd have taken all the cards!

    Congratulations Kittycat! :j

I'm feeling really blue today. My brother rang me yesterday afternoon to tell me that his wife is PG, which has left me feeling both :D and :(. They'd been trying for a whole 2 weeks, and despite my SIL knowing that we're TTC and have been for a few months now, she rambled on about how easy it was and how she just knew last week that she was PG and all of her symptoms and I just wanted to say, 'I'm happy for you but please go away so I can have a cry now!' :o OH was really clingy after that, claimed he was comforting me but I think he needed just as many cuddles as I did. :o What sucks is that I've got no-one to talk to about it, I can't tell my best friends as they're friendly with SIL and they don't want anyone to know until the 12 weeks has passed, I can't talk about it at work as they don't know I'm TTC, I'd normally talk to mum but she's going to be over the moon excited so I can't say anything and I know that I'm just being petty and jealous! I had a feeling that she'd get PG before me but the reality has hit me quite hard. :(

QQ, can I just ask about your OH's hernia/fertility issues? What happened? OH has a criss-cross scar on his ahem...'danglies' apparently down to a hernia op when he was really little then had another op a few years ago to fix another hernia that was causing more 'danglies' issues and I'm a little concerned that there could be a problem there. :o

congratulations, good to hear another bfp on the board! can i ask what dpo were you when you tested?

To be honest I am not sure as I can't tell when I ov and I haven't been doing opk's (we were taking the relaxed route).

AF should have arrived on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I didn't test any earlier as I didn't think we had dtd enough, how wrong was I? My boyfriend is very pleased with himself and keeps telling me he is super fertile, apparently I had nothing to do with it at all:rotfl:.

I really wouldn't worry about your age. I am 34 and overweight which counts against me. I have been dieting and lost 13 pounds and joined the gym this week.

However I am late this month so tested this morning and got my bfp :D.

Can't quite take it in at the moment as I didn't think it would happen due to my weight.
    :j:j:j:j:j Huge Congrats xxxx
If you can think it........it will happen

Massive hugs Birdie - I know how heartbreaking it can be too - I told my Mum at the time I found out about my friend and she was really unsympathetic towards me (she's never experienced the heartbreak of taking a long time to conceive as she conceived first time for both of us) and said I was being jealous and should be happy for her. It's put a bit of a wedge between my friend and I now, as she was the person I was confiding in about our difficulties in conceiving too. I'm glad your DH has been giving you lots of cuddles. Luckily I don't have to see this friend if I don't want to, but I suppose it's harder when you're related. I cried buckets, and it did help. I think some of the posts on here also helped, as I can't remember who is was, but someone said that it is because every baby is different, and when the time is right, we'll have the baby that is perfect for us (I may have paraphrased this a bit, but hopefully you understand the sentiment).
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Huge hugs Birdie. I know how you feel, there are only a couple of friends who know we are ttc but I don't update them at all. They don't ask and I don't want to talk about it with them, OH thinks it's a bad omen if we say to them how we feel. My friend announced as well that she is pregnant with the 2nd one and that it was soooo easy. Well, not for everyone:(.

I don't think my bfn will turn to positive tbh, I just feel it:(.
