Trying for a Baby Part 7
Comments
-
Hey QQ
It aint going to happen for me anytime soon and for my own sanity I'm trying to tell myself that I'm not trying for a baby and so I'm trying to push everything to the back of my mind and forget about it all (although I'm not very good at that).
Could you take me off the sticky list please (although I want to stay on the first page as I'll feel as if it really is all over if I'm not on that - yes I know I'm deluded).
I would say that I'm off but I know what I'm like. I'm sure I'll keep popping back like a bad smell lol. Also I wanna keep an eye out for all the BFP's you ladies are going to get.
I hope you get to be back on Team Sticky real soon. I for one miss having you around

Tinks - hope dd all better soon, must have been really stressful.
Maire - glad you got the all clear and can start the ttc journey again.
Fannyanna - hugs hope you can ttc soon.0 -
Oh poor you tinks. It is horrible when they are in hospital, particularly if it is something scary like not being able to breathe properly! Hope she is OK now. How old is DD?
Glad the news is good Maire. Welcome back to the mad house!
AFM - 1dpo and am concentrating on my new healthy eating and fitness plan. Have been to the gym this morning, so strongly suspect I will not be able to lift my arms to type by this evening! I realised I hadn't worked out in the gym since I lost the baby in September (the last time I was there was for a fitness assessment when I was 5+1, and I miscarried a few days later) though I had been doing pilates with my trainer consistently since then. I was sooo unfit and found my plan quite hard to get through! But I guess if you don't get the good "burn" you aren't actually doing yourself any good. I must be carrying a lot of water retention too, because I started my healthy eating plan yesterday with a weigh in, and just for fun weighed again this morning, and had dropped 3lbs! Not of fat obviously, but bloat perhaps
I am contemplating booking a reflexology massage for 2 weeks time, on the basis if I get a BFP I will cancel it, and if not, I will be right at the start of my cycle and could see whether some reflexology sessions throughout the whole cycle make a difference. Has anyone else tried this for anything?0 -
Well, Ive been loitering around the Waiting to TTC thread for some months now and looks like me finally graduate to this one now, since we 'tried' for the first time on Monday! Jeeeeeps. This is scary stuff
Hello everyone :j0 -
Forgot to say, can I guess 10 for this month please QQ.
Myself and the OH sat down last night and I taught him about the birds and the bees. It's suprising how much he didn't know.
Also welcome to all of the newcomers.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Welcome Moneypuddle  I hope your stay is short and sweet

How grim for you both. Do you have any books about hospitals or a toy medical set that you could play with, so she gets over any fear about what happened fast? It's always hard when you aren't sure how much they have taken in and they can't talk about it. I THINK there is a good Usborne one aimed at children that age about hospitals and all the people you see there (there was one around about 6 years ago at least because I had it for my DD who needed a hernia repair when she was 2 and a half)
