    thanks RBK..

I'll manage.. the reason my account was able to go so long without me noticing it being robbed was cos I took out some cash last week and then didn't touch it again so assumed all was fine. Something made me look today tho and I got the shock of me life! Once the replacement card comes thru I'l be able to access my account again although all that will be in there is my child benefit, lol but that will do for a while.

i thought about a bath but i think it would wake me up too much.. I might take a sleeping pill and go to bed soon tho.

    How's you? xxxx

  • Such a pain isn't it! :(

Are they sending the new card through right away?

I'm OK. I've been browsing eBay for clothes. I've seen a couple of Jane Norman jumpers that I'd like and some River Island jeans. I have some money in my PayPal account from previous sales so might treat myself :)

I have a bit of a headache so think I'll go to bed shortly.

    Hi rbk!:hello:
Good morning hun - how are you today?

    [quote=rbk
blinky, I used to have a CPN but he was from an agency and left on 16th March. I then got given a social worker. I don't really know what the difference is between the two.
How often do you see the social worker hun?
A person, usually a social worker I think, acts as your Care Co-ordinater angel. This means that they are in contact with all the various people/agencies who are involved with your care, so that they can make sure you are getting the right help. If you have a social worker to oversee everything, then any CPN you get will be able to work with your mental ill health.
A CPN is a professionally trained psychiatric nurse who works in the community to help and monitor people. So instead of them being on a ward, they are based at a mental health clinic and are also mobile for the more severe cases. They are not the same as support workers. They are able to do assessments and can access help urgently if you should need it. Your social worker should be able to do that bit too as they will also monitor you hun.
Are your parents in touch with your team angel?
So it's around the 2 week mark that you have been without a CPN. I would imagine hun, though I'm not any kind of professional, that you might be on a waiting list for one. Please ask your social worker about this.

Tiff, Thank you for your advice hun. I appreciate it. I know that what you're saying is probably true but I just can't help the way I think and feel.
I understand that hun. That's part of your illness angel. I know you appreciate any help people give you rbk.;)

I didn't go back to my Doctor today. I only saw him the other day. I don't know how he can help me. However, I did contact the samaritans (via text msg). I was going to call the Crisis team but I couldn't be sure that no-one would overhear. Plus I know what they are like, they come out to the house and I really don't want that.
Rbk, PLEASE go and see your dr or if they are closed, use the out of hours gp or go to your local hospital. It doesn't matter if you saw him a few hours ago - with mental ill health things can change by the hour sometimes! Sweetheart, you'll never know how he can help if you don't go and see him and be totally honest about your feelings angel.
I'm glad you contacted the Samaritans at least hun.:T
Hun, the Crisis Team are there for exactly that reason. You have to look at them as being emergency support and as an alternative sometimes to going into hospital. They can get you an urgent assessment. You really need their input hun. If you need help, then get it angel.

It doesn't matter who hears hun. It's only your family angel. The great thing about the Crisis Team is that they'll come to you. If you don't want to speak at home rbk, they can pick you up and take you somewhere else to talk. What's important is that you get help hun.

Angel, I know you can't see where you're going and I know how frightening that can be. Try and think of how you'd like your life to be hun - it is entirely possible for it to happen but you need professional help to achieve it angel. Try not to think about the help offered and the professionals and family as a kind of punishment hun. It's not. Trust them - they want to help you angel. Remember hun that you are poorly right now and maybe you can't see the situation from the right perspective. Please give yourself the chance to recover - contact the Crisis Team today hunnie. Thinking of you.hug.gif

    Hi ethel!:hello:
Oh angel, I am so sorry to hear that. It's disgusting! I'm glad at least you're going to get a refund by the bank eventually.

I hope you won't be offended hun but there are a couple of things you can try.

    - Social services can usually make short-term loans/grants in these situations. It probably won't be a lot but it's something.:o

    - DWP can make emergency loans/grants to people on benefits and occasionally to people who are working too. This is different to social fund loans. It's another ream of paperwork hun, but again I think they'd help. Give your local office a call hun.:o

-Is there a friend/relative that can help if you get really stuck angel?
I wish I could help more hun. I hope you're feeling better today ethel. Thinking of you sweetie.hug.gif

Here's a picture of my beloved cat called Cleo. She came to us in August 1988 when she was just a kitten, she got hit by a car on the main road and ran into our garden. The guy who hit her got out of his car, picked her up and knocked on our door he asked if the cat was ours, my dad said no but we'll take her. A few days later he put up a sign in the post office saying there was a kitten found and if it is anyones then they had to give us a ring. Thankfully no-one did, so we believe she was a stray. She was a fabulous cat, she was sweet and friendly and one of the family. Sadly when she was 16 she had problems with her liver and went blind. She fought on bravely for another year but she sadly passed away in January 2005 aged 17. I am happy she died naturally and wasnt put down :o But she is very sorely missed and I dont think i'll ever have a cat like her again.

I still have loads of pictures of her around my house. I even put up some pictures of her at my desk in my old job:o

Anyway Please take care of yourselves over the next coming weeks. You are all REALLY special

    Love you all

Hiya RBK... yeah things are going well.

I'm feeling really crappy today, my account was cleaned out so no car for me, no nothing in fact til at least tuesday when b/f gets home.

Went to the meeting and to pick up daughter to bring home and she announces that she doesnt want to come. So they arranged her to have a few hours leave with me this evening.. which means I've only just got home after leaving the house today just about 1pm. And tomorrow she's got 6 hours from 12.30 til 6..30 which means me leaving home about half ten and i'll be home by half 8 if I'm lucky! Worst part is that the weather is crap and there's nowhere to go where she is.. and even if there was, I've got hardly any money to do anythng with. I'm soo fekkin pizzed off you woldnt beleive it.

ohh well, spose tomorrow is a new day eh? cant be much worse than today
Extra huge (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))), you really are going thro it:eek:
