No one around today? Been really quiet on here.
My OH has just phoned and said that when he finished work (at 8.30) his sister and brother in law are coming round. Really annoyed, don't like his brother in law at all. His sister is ok. But I really don't feel up to having to tidy up the flat and make is presentable enough for visitors. Am tired, have been doing my new exercises the physiotherapist gave me. He also told me I should be relaxing and elevating my leg more, i.e. not rushing around tidying up because people are coming over. Arrgghhh:mad:
Sorry, needed to get rant off my chest!
Anyway, off to make dinner and tidy living room.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
geminilady, I've overdosed 3 times in the last 6 weeks. They are probably worried about me and what I might do but being so overprotective isn't helping. I know they care and all that but I just need some space and time alone.
Thank you for your kind post hun.
Tiff, No, I can't guarantee that I won't overdose again. In fact I still want to.
I do tend to isolate myself. I see my room as a safe place to be. It's just me. No-one watching over me.
I can see what you're saying Tiff. Perhaps I'll just have to persevere with things until I'm trusted more. It still makes me very  though.
Today Mum/Dad said to me when I'm back at work and return home in the evenings that I should stay downstairs with them until about 9 o clock
Ethel, I imagine that my parents feel the same way as you do about your daughter. I know they worry if I disappear for 5 mins or so.
I suppose I've only got myself to blame for the present situation.
for your supportive replies. I really do appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Enough about meIt seems very quiet on here today. Hope everyone is OK.
Hope you're all having a

That really worries me RBK and you aren't my son. I would be horrified if my son was feeling this way and unable to get help or talk to anyone.
If you want to talk about this privately I am also on msn - I can PM you my address if you want to talk - you also need to talk to a professional as well - this isn't right.
I am really concerned about thisAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree with CCStar, RBK you really need to get some professional help. What help have you been offered? I am really worried about you Hun, you can't go on like this. It is not good for you.
I know you parents are annoying you, but they must be sooo worried about you right now.
Please darling, get some professional help. Or call the samaritans if you really want to overdose again.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

Hi Rbk
Firstly hun I am on msn, if you need someone to talk to, I can also talk on the phone if you would prefer, just let me know via PMx
Ok I want you to know I understand your situation, you have just got out of hospital, have OD a number of times, and of course your parents are concerned, they want to keep you safe, they are worried for your safety. My parents are exactly the same, farr too over protective for there own good, but sadly i am realising they are getting older and its soon that im gona have to be the one looking after them, i have already had to help them with everyday things. They may want to protect me, but they do need to realise that we are adults, but as im sure you know hun, by being adults it means we need to act like it. So maybe your parents are soo scared of loosing you, worried that you will do something again, and as you say you are thinking about it, tho if im honest suicidal tendacies do slip in my head every now and again. What im trying to say is hun, your parents care for you, its in there nature of being parents, as farr as their concerned you are there baby, they want to protect you, care for you, and atm they see the only way in doing that is to have you with them all the time or when ever your home.
I have alot of friends our age, also in similair situations with thier parents, i guess its frustrating more than anything, as all we want, is to be free, when all they want to do is protect, so its about a balance of both.
hun i am here for you, anytime
you know where to find me
