2nd interview at ASDA on Tuesday of next week, proper interview with Smiths tomorrow, could be a choice between the two :(

Ive got a lot of work to do for the ASDA interview now, revamping my instore plans that they were interested in, and compiling a powerpoint presentation for the key points. So not out this weekend.

    Good luck and fingers x'd

OK, am feeling quite despondant now. When I saw the consultant last week about my ankle he said it was healing well and signed me off for 2 weeks, with the implication that I could then go back to work.

Have just been to the physio, he was really nice, but said that it would be at least another 3 weeks from now before I would be able to go back, because of the amount of swelling and the lack of movement in my ankle.

I was soooo looking forward to going back to work next week, now I have another 3 weeks off ahead of me to get even more bored and frustrated. Particularly as physio says he wants me resting the ankle as much as possible, so shouldn't even be doing much housework, let alone going out!

Well, am going out on Friday for Hubby's birthday and don't care. We are going to a comedy club, so will be sitting down all evening, so not too bad.

Just so annoying as I was starting to feel like things were about to get back to normal:mad: . Also it means that we probably won't be able to go on the holiday we were talking about as it means I will have nearly another month just surviving on SSP.

    Feel really down now.

    hiya flis :hello:

try not to be too down about it.. better to rest it more now and have it heal properly than rush things and have worse problems later :/ I know its crap.. I'd be going off my nut if I were you but try to look on the bright side. And whatever you do.. don't use it as an excuse to comfort eat!!!!

Something positive will happen to make up for it.. you'll see :)

Yes the only wayto sort it is with a short nap -just an hour no longer. If you could get some peace to lie down and get someone to wake you in an hour or set your alarm. Im really really grumpy when I dont get enough sleep- which is quite a lot as i have all these thoughts swirling around my head. I have had bad sleep problems for the past 11 years- its no fun .

I liked your photo ethel -sorry if it upset other posters but it made me smile- actually chuckle- my first today.

lol, I don't go to many forums.. just this one and a music one occasionally which is completely unmoderated
I woudnt post any pics on the OS board, I don't really go there much at all, and I dont really know any of the ppl there either much.

had to go to my mum's. daughters pet mouse which mum was looking after has died, was old age.. and they let my daughter come home from the hospital to bury it accompanied by a nurse. was nice to see her, even if it was only for an hour :)

Cat, you'd have wet urself laughing last night.. I was having a soak in the bath with lots of bubbles and I had a seaweed mask on. Frankie came in to see where I was was.. saw the mask.. howled and ran away!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: When I came out he kept staring at me and it was ages before he'd come near me again! lol
