  • Hi guys, big hellos to the team here! PP, Tiff, feelie, CC, szabo etc etc etc :)

off work tonight, got a swap, couple of interviews this week too so my journey goes onto days! With a bit of luck Uni in September, I've had to seriously look at myself, where Im going, what my ambitions are after all that has happened. Im indebted to my folks for sorting out my loan. So I have a good plan to follow from now on.

I think back to some of my posts on here, I reached a low low point, but whilst everything fell down in one go, everything fell into place when I was getting back up, with regards to the loan, then the car sale (just finance pending now), couple of job interviews too coming up.

I like ASDA, but it was only ever a stopgap, whilst I sorted out my issues, which ive now done, i could have had the best job in the world but I wasnt in the right frame of mind for anything, so my problems were just mounting because I didnt know what the specific issue was.

Keep the faith though guys, its very very hard at times, but there is a light at the end of a tunnel.

    howdy peeps :D

Big welcome huggs to the newcomers :)

Sorry I've not been around... been a bit of a hectic weekend what with one thing and another but it HAS been the unstressiest weekend i've had in a long time :D I even slept!!!!!!

Daughter was a delight.. which is a breakthru in itself.. she hasn't done anything to damage herself since last week.. seems something finally clicked and she was a real pleasure to have around :D

(_|_) was away all weekend, back tomorrow and even he seems to have turned a corner... we shall see...

My arm seems to be starting to feel better and I've started taking omega 3 and vitamin d supplements.. not ted's ones but some i got from holland n barrett ages ago and never bothered taking.. not sure how long they take to work but I do feel a bit better.

Trevalynne.. (hope I spelled it right) I did the same as your OH when I started a new relationship.. I felt so happy and elated that I stopped the ADs and it all came crashing down when things calmed down and got normal again, so now I'm back on them. Could be that your hubby is having tghe same reaction? Also I think probably he could do with a talking therapy regarding his guilt feelings bout his kids and yours, all the pills in the world won't help that I think, but they will help him to feel a bit more positive so I reckon he should see the gp and ask for both.

I'm on Citalopram and I've been really lucky in that I don't get any of the side effects listed apart from feeling shaky on the inside occasionally and less interested in nookie.. but that could be circumstances in my case rather than the pills... and yeah.. on the few occasions I've had alcohol with them, it does hit harder and faster! If the effects are really bothering you then I would go back and ask the gp if you could try something different, there are loads of different antideprssants out there and eventually you will find the one that suits you :)

megahuggs to everyone.. and erm.. stenny.. when you've time.. could you come down to london and makeover a 3 bed 3 storey townhouse pls :D

    Just a quick hello

Not been here for 2 weeks, trying to sort my head out and had some bad anniversaries last week. I'm okay, i'm just saddened by what has happened recently. No contact from 'S' to myself or my flatmate, which is good, as when she contacts flatmate, i'll feel really awful again. I still think of her, it has only been 3 weeks I suppose. I'm just gutted that someone who likes me like that, can't be with me. My confidence has been badly beaten, I can't even hold on to someone who wants to be with me, I feel such a failure.

I shall take 'S' out of my signature  She will be replaced by another 'S' though - Shilpa from BB - what a sweetheart she is. I hope to meet someone half as lovely as she is. I don't overly fancy her, I just think she's great :)

Thanks for the PM's, I will reply in time.

I start my 1 afternoon per week in a charity shop tomorrow, just a start on the road to recovery.

I hope you are all well and that my saddening mood doesn't bring anyone down.

    Hi all,

Just a quick pop in as I am heading off to bed soon. Haven't been in here for ages I'm afraid. Sadly my depression really did rear its ugly head although I was hoping I could shake it off, unfortunately I couldn't :( Hubby said I had been heading downhill since Mum's funeral early December and I had just kept going till it all came to a major head the other week.

I will be talking to my Dr, this week, about having my medication increased, and possibly going to "group therapy" as the one on one therapy worked for me last year but I really don't think it will work this time. I also want to see if they can reinstate my CPN for me.. I've also got to tell my psychiatrist what has been happening and I dont think he will be too pleased as I hadnt been in touch with the mental health team to ask for help before I got really bad.

At the moment its an effort to just get out of bed during the days, although most of the time I don't actually make that effort till gone 3pm.

But the good news is that thankfully I can recognise when I am getting bad and am swallowing my pride and asking for help from my Dr.

Anyway wanted to pop in and say hi to you all, and offer !!!!{Hugs}}} to those that are in need of them.

So I am off to my bed now, I will see you all tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear about your breakup with the original S. She was a damaged soul and I could see there was no peace for you in your posts.

Yes good triumphed bad on CBB last night - Shilpa is very pretty and certainly had an inner strength to hold out against those horrible bullies. Boy they were a trigger for me! I was unable to watch CBB for the last two weeks, as I felt they were getting away with it too much and Channel 4 were being wimps.

    Jermaine is cool too.

I feel kinda chilled and loved up tonight - had a good weekend with my OH but not getting too excited, things don't tend to last with me, but enjoying it while I can.

My news, it's been a blooming hard January, getting prepared for selling the house and getting over the cold I had. It is going on the market today! Finger's x'd things will start to happen soon!
