Is anyone else working for them? I got my email today so say that I passed all the tests and am now a facilitator! Really looking forward to it, and I reckon realistically I could earn £100 a month from it, which to sit on your bum at home watching TV is better than nothing!

So if anyone who works for them wants to talk on here that would be great!

Am sure I looked at them a bit back and it was American only? Also thought it was 5-10p per query answered so need to do quite a bit of work to get any decent money out of them. Might have changed recently though so good luck with it.

They launch in the UK next week and are currently looking for facilitators and factfinders.

Hullo there! I am just in the process of signing up with them now - but am wondering if it is best to sign up to be a facilitator or a factfinder. Do you know if there is any substantial difference in the amount of work you would get and the pay?
  • I've just applied as well, fingers crossed. Something to do whilst logged onto the laptop:j

    Hi guys,

Well I signed up for ChaCha - have a username and password.
Clicked onto the verification link on the email, got as far as the quiz, submitted my answers and then the page did not load and I got timed out.

Now I have no way of getting back to the quiz - the email link no longer works since I have already verified my email address and I can't find anywhere to sign in. Can't find any information to contact ChaCha... can anyone help???

    Cheers :)

Try going to https://uksearchu.chacha.com if you haven't yet gone through all the training videos.

https://ukuniverse.chacha.com is the next website for doing the test!

    Good luck!

I registered and went through all the training and submitted the test questions this evening. Hopefully will hear from them soon!

Anyway, I applied for FactFinder thinking they would get the most work. Wish I'd gone for Facilitator now after seeing that all questions go through them before being passed through to FactFinders.

Something to think about though...it looks like they pay their US staff $0.07 per message. This is around £0.0421. Meaning you'd have to answer 140 messages an hour (2.34 a minute!) to earn a minimum wage of £5.93. If that's the case, I don't think I'll be going ahead. Maybe they'll try and be a little more competitive with their pay (Quext pays £0.30 per text although they've not been hiring for at least 6 months!)

Oh well, no doubt all will be revealed soon!
