Just eaten half of it for my tea before I go to school for a Governors' Meeting.
If you can beat my husband to the other half... well... better run!
It was smashing.
OH will have his when he comes downstairs (he's working from home today).....0 -
I've got some celery about to go off on me - again! Thats the one thing that tends to defeat me - I buy a bunch of celery for the one or two stalks I need - maybe use a couple more in a stirfry and the rest then goes off on me.
Can I freeze celery?
Any ideas for using up besides salads - right now all I can think of is celery sticks with peanut butter in that I read about the other day - but dont want to try just at present, as I am on a diet (peanut butter - fattening)!0 -

Ollie and honey the Bounty Balls are absolutely fabulous. Very sweet though so not something I will make *too* regularly. They really are just like teeny Bounties.
honey I made about 26 - they were are mini bitesize. DS and DD have scoffed half a dozen between them already and DD has packed some in her lunchbox for tomorrow. I call that a success!
Hope you enjoy them too."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Tasha, the recipe for bakewell tart sounds lovely.
Today i had some natural yoghurt to use up, so my DD1 had it when she came home from school starving. I have some baked beans left from tonights tea so i'll give them to DD1 on toast for breakfast tomorrow (she hates some cereal) so she will love that.
I have some grapes to use up but my DD1 & DD2 have gone off them and i can't get them to eat them...so has anyone any suggestions?...i don't suppose they freeze so you can eat them as cold snacks do they?0 -

Jellie I don't think you can do jam in all BMs, I have a Morphy Richards fastbake which has a jam recipe, however it was such a pain to clean afterwards, I've never used it again for jam making
Thanks- that explains why I hadn't heard of it as I have a Panasonic! Useful to know it's difficult to clean up.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
