Good luck! :j0 -
Potato peelings can be scrubbed and any unwanted bits removed...then paint sparingly with olive oil or any oil you prefer, flavoured or otherwise.
Bake in a hot oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until they go very crispy.
healthy crisp snacks, great with dips and you can sprinkle with a little parmesan or other hard cheese for the last few minutes of cooking.:)
Thank you very much. These are in my oven now0 -

oooh but I'm pleased withe myself today
. Leftovers used up have been:-
- My lunch today was left over mashed potato and cabbage from dinner last night - fried up and served on two slices of stale bread that I buttered lightly and dry fried in the pan next to the potato and cabbage. it was YUM
- soaked too many pasta sheets for the lasagne I was making for tonight's dinner (I don't like them just put in the lasagne dry)....so I dried them, cut them into bite sized triangles and deep fried them....DD and DS say they tasted just like square crisps (whatever they may be
)
- Muffins made for breakfast tomorrow by omitting sugar and adding left over sweetcorn, some dried up bits of cheese, chopped red onion and half a rasher of bacon

I make it all the time. Just whizz the nuts in a food processor adding oil driop by drop until it blends into a paste. May take a few minutes. In total you will add 1-2 tbsps oil. This helps make it spreadable.
I use the Value peanuts 30p a packet and 2 packs makes a large jar.0 -
