Whilst feeling yuk I have decluttered/re organised 2 drawers out of 6 in bedside cupboard - some socks gone as I found 8 new pairs:o also a couple of hankies which I never use, and some small notebooks - getting addicted to the KONMARIE methodBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Lurgy is lingering
Thought I had turned a corner but felt faint and wobbly this morning so have stayed at home - hate this as there is always soooo much to catch up when I get back. Hopefully tomorrow. At least I save £10 a day travel costs.

Today is the first day felt close to human for about a week and been able to stay upright and awake for more than half an hour:) I am on the mend. Advice is to rest but frankly I have had enough so some gentle pottering today, a bit more tomorrow as energy levels creep up and back to work on Friday, should do the trick. Now I need to spend less time on here and start to get organised - January almost over and I feel as if I am lagging behind:)
Of course the plus side - little eaten, weight lost, and save £40 in dieselBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I know you are bored with resting but please take it easy. If you do potter, don't overdo it. Take regular breaks and don't do too much. Please xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Back to work tomorrow - could stay off until Monday but need to get back into the groove and also we have a frog leaving tomorrow so want to say goodbye. Also means the extra helper we have had ( particularly difficult frog
) will also be leaving which is sad too.
Whilst been off have done a lot of thinking and planning, calculating and more thinking............hope it will all be of use.Certainly cant carry on with the way some things are at the moment. At a bit of a crossroads/hiatus and really wanting a change........Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Ha, ha Igamogam, I had just read that article before I caught up with you thread. I can totally relate to this as well as I regularly get stressed out about the amount of accumulated stuff in our house, not helped by OH being self employed handyman/builder and having lots of pots of screws/nails etc that I cannot seem to get him to store in tubs or boxes that are easily stackable. I think there is a part of me that wants to be really minimalist but I can't be brutal enough when clearing out, lolEvery penny's a prisoner
