Busy busy busy with the declutter:D Well whilst its a bit wet and windy there is no excuse not to. have decided to run down the freezers and store s a bit too. Last few weeks shopping gone a bit askew so need to get back on track - not desperately so but I could feel the control slipping and a couple of un-scheduled shops have crept in.
Chasing up a couple of survey payments and returned some items that were an impulse buy in a moment of weakness:D

More declutter day tomorrow - having the house to myself during the day is helping. I will have to do a trip to charity shop tomorrow and recycle centre then I will feel and see the difference:)

My book group summer read has arrived - over 700 pages:eek: Planning on a few sunny days in the garden to get through it.
Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi :o

Now if I could remember how to work the new all singing all dancing pellet boiler I would put the CH on:eek: OH and DD out at moment and silly me just let them work it out when we had it installed saying I will learn about it when I have time:rotfl: Almost wish we still had the old faithful solid fuel Ag*..........very straight forward. I said almost cos I do not miss the fetching of coal, the dust and the ash:D Think I may light the log burner or maybe just do some vigorous vacuuming :p

July was a rather spendy month and August doesn't hold any let up:o However the declutter continues and I am being to see some differences now. Really must get back onto Eb*Y. I am beginning ruthless and not holding onto things just because they bring in a few pennies off Eb*y and I only keeping stuff that has a chance of a tenner or more.............I am beginning to value my time more.

Got nowhere today but didn't spend anything so thats a plus:D Running down the cupboards and freezers. In a weeks time I am going to drastically reduce the carbs so I want as much temptation out of the way. Picked about 1kg of redcurrants today and ate loads and almost a kg of raspberries - had a row of cheeky bluetits sitting along the eaves of the shed roof swearing at me the entire time - have left plenty for them ;)

How's your blissful week going Igamogam?

Are the berries in your garden or picked locally? I really miss my old strawberry plants from my cottage dwelling days. Maybe I can have one on the balcony of my new flat.

    Hope all is well. :)

My home-alone-staycation will come to a end today. not sure how I feel about it really. Haven't got done nearly half of what I wanted to but still have achieved a lot- garden tidy and looking nice. House tidy and clean - well all the main rooms - office, spare bedroom, and our bedroom still a work in progress. Lots of stuff gone out through the door to various other places - re homed, sold, donated and recycled. Some in wheelie bin. Managed to sell one item on Eb*y for £22 so minus fees that will be going straight onto a CC. All seems calm...long may it last ;)
