Thanks Brizz.:) Only kept quiet about it as it hasn't been the focus of the debt busting really. Its been paid the hard way. ....every penny........ but a relatively small mortgage compared with some and with b00ger all interest last few years so I am guessing we have been fortunate. We have always considered the mortgage as a " necessary " debt IYSWIM
Cant wait for final mop up payment to be made at end of month. Planning on doing it in person..............:D

Still feeling great about no mortgage and look I have my first MSE badge:)
Need to refocus a bit after a very tight October. The large temporary loan we took out in April for house project, can now be paid off and I shall be doing that on Monday:) Decluttering and finding our lovely home again, continues but is getting harder. I am back on track with my PADs and really must tot up how much in percentage terms the CC debt has been reduced and check out the next CC shuffle to 0%. A meal plan needs doing.........DD2 and I are looking at reducing our carb intake for a while. I have lost weight steadily since the summer just by upping the regular exercise and making a few changes in how I eat - somebody remarked at work that I had lost weight which I hadnt noticed myself and lo and behold somewhere I have shed a stone:) So lots to do.........oh and Eb*y somethings:)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I have challenged my DS to learn how to ebay with the promise that he can keep the money for whatever he sells, but he hasn't risen to it yet. I have sold a few bits on local FB groups where no postage/delivery involved, but have never really got into ebay.
I've been avidly reading my self help bibles but doing little in practice
