There are people out there who just plain shouldn't be!

I've had things happen too, it is awful.

The one that sticks out in my mind was one I witnessed. A child was standing at her garden gate, with her mum, calling to a cat that was crossing the road. As the cat got near the kerb a car came down the street, swerved to the wrong side of the road and deliberately ran the cat over right in front of the child. What kind of morons do a thing like that!!

I'd clocked the car's registration and sprinted after it (I was young, fit and a damned good runner back then). It was in London so the car soon got caught in traffic. I caught up with it and while it was stuck in traffic keyed it right up the side and rear as hard as I could with my house keys and kicked out the brake light before the morons could drive away. I'd have done a lot more if they had kept still long enough.

Strangely, and probably luckily for me, the morons just sat there, open mouthed, and watched me do it.

I can count the times in my life that I've really lost my temper on one hand and that time was about three fingers worth.

I'm not proud of what I did and it didn't help that cat or the poor child, but I hope it might have made the morons think twice before doing it again.

My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

  • I've been spat at walking down the road, it was horrible :(

I've had lots of eggs and water bombs thrown at my windows for months after I shouted out of the window at some boys kicking a ball against my neighbours car. They tried pulling the windscreen wipers off it once when I happened to be watching them, I told them in rather colourful language to stop and I got a finger.... and I just snapped, I decided that was it and went out after them with my pretty hefty rolling pin! Never seen kids move so fast, it's been pretty quiet ever since!! Isn't it funny how fast they seem to back down when you square up to them?

Good job you didn't catch them then, I think it's hard to post on the net from prison.

Oh I got that a few months ago when I was walking home from ASDA. I had my little shopping trolley with me and some idiots in a crappy feista shouted S***!!!! as they went past.
I replied by waving only using two fingers and using 2 words in which the 2nd one is "off"
Must have confused me with his girlfriend, the wally.
Look at it like this, you are getting rid of your so called big bum (if you have one, it might not be, but many of us ladies think that we are ample around the posterior ;)) the fella who shouted at you will always be an big mouthed idiot. ;)

Thank you thats a lovely thing to say :)

How did you know he was shouting at you ?

I seemed to be the only person he could have been shouting at. I was the only one on the pavement and he leaned out and yelled it at me as he went passed. I suppose theres a small chance I could have been mistaken.

Always have been sad people out there to be honest, i guess through the medium of online chat etc we hear about it more than previously?

I do believe in karma though and have seen almost instant karma in two such situations

First was as some have mentioned above, where someone deliberately swerevd to go through a huge puddle trying to soak me. I managaed to just get behind the bus stop which stopped the worst of the water and heard a bang as the car went by. Turns out the drain cover had either lifted (or been stolen I guess!) and the cars nice alloy wheel had gone straight over the remaining hole. The noise it made there must have been some damage which brought a nice wry smile to my face for a few hours i can assure you

Also when I first started driving I was poodling along around 30mph and some idiot decides I am going too slow and tries to overtake on a blind bend. Fortunately due to my quick reactions and avoiding action by the oncoming driver the idiot manaages to swerve back in. Being in full "raging idiot" mode he pulls up and storms back to my car proceeding shout and hit the window and then spits leaving me as a young naive 17 year old pretty shaken. Said idiot then roars off and goes straight across a mini roundabout too fast and slides into the kerb on the exit and "pop" goes his nearside front tyre. Cue me driving past with tears streaming down my face..... of laughter this time though!!

Point is to these both of these stories are more than 20 years old - some things don't change however much our media and families try to tell us otherwise.
There have always been idiots and there always will be idiots

My god, that's just evil! As for what you did, I think they got off pretty lightly for doing something that sick!

I've had people in cars shout stuff at me a few times, because everyone knows it's oh so brave to yell at someone from the safety of a moving vehicle. Some guy shouted at me to get a tan - this was in Torquay, so no great surprise when you think about some of the posing pr!cks you find there. Another person just randomly screamed out the window. I can only assume it was supposed to give me a fright, but it didn't work in the slightest, hah.

Seriously, the people who do this stuff are just saddos who aren't worth your time. The fact they get their kicks from hurting/scaring/upsetting people is proof enough of that.
