Think to be honest (or hope) they were aiming for the car (brand new 07 reg Audi TT) and they were just bad shots and it went through the window hitting my shoulder as I turned to look in the back seat for something. Hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't have turned round
Reported it to the police and they said I wasn't the first to report it in that street but they had no idea who was doing it. They guessed at kids in their bedroom windows or something!
Why the heck didn't the police let people know what was going on in the street? or even put up posters to beware. You could have had a little one in the back seat and what!! Make it worse imagine if you had looked out of the window and got shot in your face. This is a serious matter, these clowns see this as funny but they just move up the ladder and start using more harmful weapons. Anyway your ok and that's what matters the most.:)It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
A van drove past me on the main road I was walking down and the passenger of the van spat at me
I was mortified and felt so humiliated I didn't go out that night but stayed in instead. I know it was just a random attack but I was so upset by it.
The same thing happened to me recently. I heard a shout and then someone spat at me from a van. Luckily it missed me, but I felt really upset. I have had an egg thrown at me before, but this seemed much worse somehow. Just disgusting - and yes, it was random but it played on my mind for ages after.0 -
I remember when i was heavily pregnant someone driving past hit me across the back of the head whilst the vehicle was moving it was horrible i thought i'd been hit with a bat! People are horrible! Hope your okay
some people are prize !!!!!! arent they, when i was pregnant i remember walking into town and a bunch of jerks shouting at me from their car and on another occasion i was sat on a bus also pregnant and 2 or 3 blokes got off at the stop before me and banged on the window where i was sat, doesn't sound like much now but at the time with all my hormones etc i was really upset0 -
Anything like this naturally makes you feel a bit shaky.
You have to just think it's random moron-ness and try to find some satisfaction that anyone that moronic is guaranteed one day to get theirs. They'll either just do something totally stupid and get hurt, end up in jail, or pick on the wrong person at the wrong time and get their heads kicked in.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Please report it. Your local PCSO's are the best bet. They can have a look around the area and will know if there are any other reports.
Someone threw a soggy sandwich through my dad's car window, years ago. It hit my mum in the face and made a right mess.
She had agoraphobia and it really knocked her for six.
I really do believe that one day, these scumbags grow up and they suffer worse (fingers crossed) and they will know how it feels0 -
I can sympathise, I've had random stuff thrown at me before now from passing vehicles, each and every time for no reason and it has really upset me.
A couple of days ago I was waiting for my girlfriend to come out of work when I suddenly heard a shout, then felt the impact of an egg on my head. Turns out I was standing underneath the window of a youth hostel, the youths in there were all smoking pot and acting like !!!!!!!!s. I walked away, I knew if I went up to do something I'd end up giving at least one of them a beating - though the likelihood by weight of numbers is I would be hurt. My girlfriend got it reported as apparently they've done things like that before. As it's above a Citizens Advice Bureau they obviously don't want it continuing.
Really baffles me how some people can only derive joy from making somebody else miserable, I was in a bit of a depressive slump for hours afterwards.0 -
awww some people are utter twits!:(...touchwood I've never had or done any of those things..BUT my husband was walking home one night before he was with me and someone chucked a digestive biscuit at him..yeah we are hard core up here!lolYou may walk and you may run

I do remember in my younger days when happy slapping was all the rage that a young chav picked me.
As it is as I felt the impact I swung my arm out and got a chav running pull pelt on my elbow.
Yes I had a sore head and elbow, but the sight of a knocked out chav just made my day.
Don't think they filmed it, but if they had the footage would be great to see.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

God after reading this thread I just have to wonder what is wrong with people?? Why would you even consider throwing something at somebody from a moving car? I just don't understand!
The worst I had was some teenager boys threw an egg at my car and it hit my windscreen, I couldn't believe how much noise it made, and the mess - took ages to clean up!
I did ring the police when I got home and gave the details, I saw the 2 lads on the side of the road and roughly knew how old they were. The police told me I wasn't the first person to report this, and that they would look into it.
I was shaken up and nearly lost control of my car with the loud noise and restricted view through the windscreen, such a dangerous thing to do and could so easily lead to tragedy.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
