Along the road and someone threw an egg at me. I'm so upset this is the second time someone's thrown something at me from a car.

I remember when i was heavily pregnant someone driving past hit me across the back of the head whilst the vehicle was moving it was horrible i thought i'd been hit with a bat! People are horrible! Hope your okay

That's a truely aweful thing to happen when you're pregnant.

My wrist really hurts where the egg hit me but I just feel so upset, I've not even told the people in the house I'm in. I walked upstairs into the shower and then put my clothes in the washing machine. Now drinking wine, which I was trying not to do.

I just feel really sad, I can't quite get a grip on it yet

Some people are just the other word for donkeys!
My Husband has had a few incidents where he has been out on his bicycle and he had someone lean out of a van window to hit him on the back of the head with a metal pole, and had gypsy's go past on their horse and cart thing and hit him in the face with a whip. As soon as he stopped and looked at them they basically made out like they would be ready for a fight if he did anything and since he had his bike with him he didnt want to risk losing it.
Some people are just pathetic, a waste of air. Dont let it get to you, it wasnt personal they are just idiots. Just think of it as they obviously have something wrong in their lives for them to act that way to another person.

To Denton, Supermaiden and GunsandBanjo - I thank you all. You've made me feel better. I swore last time it happened that I'd get the number plate of the car and report it to the police but today again I'm not quick enough.
I am ok but just disappointed in people and somehow I don't get it, it's not even remotely funny and what purpose does it serve.
I know it's small and with everything that's happened in London this last week, people surprise me all the time. I used to think the best in everyone but that's all fading rapidly.

My friend had an egg thrown at him, from a moving car, recently. He was cycling - it hit him in the face and he nearly fell off! There are some really nasty people out there.:(

Hey Rizler, I really feel for you, just try not to take it personally. It sounds like a random attack, and you were just unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? So it hurts a bit, but I guess not as much as your pride does. Better you than a frail pensioner?
