To warm your heart here is a story of karma very quickly catching up with some idiot. When an ex of mine was a young bloke he was driving as a passenger in a car. He decided it would be really funny to wind down his window and bark like a dog really loudly as they passed a cyclist. Apparently the bark was very convincing and the cyclist nearly came off his bike with shock. He got the last laugh though. As they drove round the next bend there was a railway crossing with the barriers down. God did that cyclist give him hell when he caught up with the car0

they are idiots and its not personal
If it makes you feel any better, 20 years ago I was driving a van and at the last second decided to soak a whole bus queue with a puddle alongside it.
I've absolutely no idea why I did it tbh, it was like someone took over my mind for a few seconds, very odd, I only lived round the corner as well. If one of those guys had caught up with me, I deserved the kicking I no doubt would have got. I still feel guilty about it today.
But I am guessing that most of the people that do the things most of you have spoken about, don't think for another minute about it and certainly not about you. Don't give them the satisfaction of being upset about it, just shrug it off as another part of society, like the litter in the streets, that I pick up all the time, because I won't let them win.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Don't think you can't report it just because you didn't get the registration no.
I know it will be a bit down the list from looters and rioters, but if there have been other reports of egging, then yours may be corroboration and another one on the list, making it not a 'random' act but a deliberate 'campaign' IYSWIM.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I've had various items thrown at me while driving the motorbike from water (well i hope it was water) to bottles, to a pineapple !!! usually these items have come from the back of the car infront of me and from a chav.
You have to wonder what are they thinking are they trying to make me fall off and injure or kill me or do they not just think at all ??
Its not nice but hey they're the @ssholes i just hope that someday it'll bite them on the @ss for doing it.
Why!!!!!! They are lucky you didn't pick it up and throw it back and knock one of them out with it.It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Someone deliberately drove into a puddle ( a really massive one - dogs could have swum in it) to soak me and twin2 once... She was aged just 5... despicable enough but worse considering she clearly had her whole arm in plaster and it needed keeping dry :mad: and the driver of the car was coming towards us and would have to have been blind to miss the plaster cast.
Oh also been waiting for a bus (same road oddly enough) and a siren sounded, so this woman thinks she'll pull on to the pavement first and then brake, narrowly missing the twins and buggy :eek: If I hadn't seen her in time and pushed all of the kids into someones garden wall there would have been broken bones at least.
And quite recently to the reverse of this, a cyclist who pulled out in front of a bus without looking, yelled at the bus driver who pulled away, the cyclist caught up with the bus in town, reached up when he was stopped to let people on and tried to pull him out of the window f-ing and blinding at the top of his voice, the C word was used  I felt really sorry for the bus driver who wasn't allowed to do/say anything back because he would have lost his job, he had to sit there and take it. Also he apologised to me because I had the kids with me at the front of the bus and 'It's not right for them to see that' and the swearing, and none of it was even him.
Oddly enough I've got a friend who moved away who says he feels safer doing 100 mph on a motorway than he does doing 20 round here :rotfl: see what he means now!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Nope, never found out who did it. Think to be honest (or hope) they were aiming for the car (brand new 07 reg Audi TT) and they were just bad shots and it went through the window hitting my shoulder as I turned to look in the back seat for something. Hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't have turned round
Reported it to the police and they said I wasn't the first to report it in that street but they had no idea who was doing it. They guessed at kids in their bedroom windows or something!0 -
A friend of mine was shot in the bum with an air rifle in Miami whilst walking along the road. Someone fired an air rifle through the window at us when I was at school.0
