No stitching managed today, but I did flick through my magazine. I wasn't too impressed. There are a couple of cute little christmas designs that I might try, but nothing too inspiring. I just don't think the magazines are for me really, I'll stick to getting kits.

Grrrr...annoyed at blimming Argos's website!:mad:

Was trying to reserve stuff last night and just as I went to the basket they decided to have some website maintentance and 'sorry for the inconvenience' pfft.

Well, been trying today to get my stuff and every time I go to my basket the screen goes blank. Annoying.


Slightly on the upside my thread order arrived today so I have my metallic gold. However two of the four mouseloft kits I ordered weren't with the package so have had to email and find out where they are (so much for being all ethical and not copying them) :rotfl:

I ended up just texting hubby all the items/numbers and hoping for the best. Not too bad, there was one item not in stock, and another which was half price yesterday at £25 but was back to full price today C'est la vie

Hello ladies
Thank you all for your kind wishes . The proceedure went ok, I am home, but a bit uncomfortable. (although that said the proceedure isn't meant to be comfortable so it is only to be expected that I am sore).
I was given sedation, which annoyingly always seems to make me more awake, so my plan of going back to bed after my 8:15am hospital appointment (yet the Dr didn't arrive till 9:15 :eek: and I didn't go home till 11am) was a total waste. I ended up just watching the Devil Wears Prada rather than sleeping.

No stitching done today, just rested all afternoon.
Not impressed that I missed that gorgeous cabinet (and after DH had said I could bid up to £50) all because of that damned hospital proceedure. Damn my genetics!

Ah well,
I may just attempt a bit more tree before bed...

I know, gutted! I live close enough to collect it too Grrr! Oh well, will just have to keep an eye out for another.... won't hold my breath though lol.
