I remember them and I'm 35
When I started at 11, Dr Whites was all Mum had in the house. Typically she was using her only belt so I had to thread a bandage through the loops and round my waist and go to school like that for the day until she could get me some more appropriate pads.
I am 33 - I have never seen or heard of one of those belt things.
I remember getting dragged to boots for lil-lets when required, and to be honest never thought of pads. Eww!0 -

How are you feeling today? Sorry for not posting before, but I was thinking of you & hoping you were doing ok. Big hugs!
How about a Mr Men theme? I have a Mr Men & Little Miss alphabet chart that was free with a magazine years ago if you wanted it.
Winnie The Pooh designs use specially dyed thread, so you might struggle to find the perfect colours. They used to sell a WTP thread pack, but that was a while ago & I think Designer Stitches no longer exist. Does Anchor own the rights to WTP now???
Are you more drawn to one big design on an afghan, or several motifs scattered around? We can always help with advising you on what you need to buy & where from if you did want to buy seperatly.
I know Sew & So do the WTP colours try checking this for themDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Just went to hunt through my frame stash to see if I could find something suitable for Meg & Mog, but I haven't. I did however find a small square frame and thought it would fit the Queen Anne House that I have sitting (almost finished!) waiting for a frame. It needed the button stitched on it, so I quickly did that and....

I have done a lot of cross stitch projects over the years. I also do Tapestry kits and latch hook rugs. I havent done any cross stitch project in a llong while and I have loads started. Anyway I am hoping that someone will be able to help me. I am looking for a cheap Eeeyore and pooh bear latch hook rug. The cheapest I have seen it for is about £67. Can anyone point me in the right directin to see if I can get it cheaper.
Thanks
Which one are you looking for? Just googled & there's quite a few. You don't see latch hook rugs around so much now. Hobbycraft had a few last week, but I used to buy my WTP ones at the shows.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

There's several on eBay. I searched 'latch hook pooh' (!) and there were several different ones much cheaper than the one you linked too. Hope you get a bargain!
Just check the description as some are charts only & one I looked at was the completed rug, not a kit!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Ruth_honey - Thank you for asking, I am doing ok thank you, a little sore but getting there. On the upside I have a very good excuse to put my feet up and stitch without DH calling me lazy
.
BTW - loving the Queen Annes house :T it looks lovely.
On the stitching front I have very nearly finished the tree at last. So I may finish it by Christmas, but pushing it to get it done by postal date, I shall have to stop all other craft stuff until I finish it!
So many crafts, so little time :rotfl:. I was intending on doing party bag stuff for DS's birthday, but will have to see if my stitching speeds up enough!
