    Argh!
I was just planning on starting my map of W. Yorkshire, evenweave prepped, threads all sorted etc. Then I realised there was no sheet of paper with what threads each of the symbols are, WTH is all that about?? How on earth am I supposed to know which thread goes with which symbol?

ETA. Nevermind, found it lol, it was on one of the yellow pieces of paper! :embarasse :o

  • Soulie - glad you found it, had you not I could have stood outside and given you a rough colour guide :p to my part of yorkshire (sorry just teasing - I have an odd sense of humour).

Well no stitching for me yesturday, I have no idea where the day went.
Had a lovely little visit to the park, I love watching my 2 running around. DS is a real little dare devil, he is not even 2 and he was on everything! No sense of danger! Only downside being I am not up to chasing after them yet :( heres hoping I get there soon.

Then stayed up late working on a card for my nephew. Just hope he likes it. The pressure is on as DHs family like to rate my homemade cards. Problem being I did a very intrigate one for MIL last year and I have as yet been unable to top it in their books.

So today I am hoping to manage a bit more of "On the beach" and will up date with pics later.
    Have a great day everyone

Not doing too bad with the meerkats, just got to do the santa hat on the second meerkat, backstitch and the writing in the top corner... Only made 3 ickle mistakes which I managed to correct (even if it does mean the meerkat on the left is slightly further away from the other meerkat than he's meant to be...)

  • I'm glad you lot don't taklk as much as you used to!! (in the best possible way)

good to hear progress is being made by people, glad it's all going well biker but yuck for infected fingernails.

as some of you will know my time away was 'interesting'..... where to start.

    - Preston travelodge is proabbly the worst/ dirtiest one EVER. Dirty plastic bathroom cups, mouldy bathroom ceiling, a travel cot that looked like it had been pi**ed all over it was sooo badly stained. one lightbulb missing - not just dead but actually missing. and a few other things that annoyed me.

    - got absolutly soaked to the skin in Blackpool. and anyone who has been there will know how annoyed i am as I REALLLYYYYY wanted to see the big tablaeu lights. We got off at noth station, had some tea.... WALKED with the buggy and toddler ALL the way to the pleasure beach in the pouring rain watching the trams as we went. Was just about to catch the tram all the way back down the lights........... and one had broken down (or something) at the pleasure beach so NONE could run back down and we did't see any going back down all the walk BACK to north station. GRRRRRRRRRRRR that was to be the highlight of my trip.

    - went to see the monster-in-law who managed to wind me up within 10 minutes (a record even in her books). she'd spoken to hubby in the week to check we all ate sausage as she was going to do that for dinner. walked in (thankfully not starving due to eating mccy d's brekkie) for her to announce hubbys sister in law had suggested she use up the food int he cupboards and cook tomato soup instead. which neither me or toddlerwiggle eat. so i got half a tin of (cold) beans on (cold) toast.
then at 6.30 toddlerwiggle came and told me he was hungry..... we then find out his sis in law has cooked tea for his family and their kids but not enough for us ..... and we weren't offered anything either.... so we then had to walk to the train station (another mccy ds for toddlerwiggle) an hours train trip back to hotel - thankfully with a buffet car as I felt really sick/ faint from hunger abotu 10 mins in - then sent hubby out for kebab and chips.

    - walking back to train today to come home...... the wheel died on our suitcase (i mean it actually left black marks all over debenhams floor!!) so we had to buy a new one.... OUCH £60!!! but LOVELY man in TK MAXX took our old one to throw in their rubbish - I coulda kissed him.

Off to dr's in morning for my thyroid (among other) blood tests to try and get to the bottom of the itching once and for all but can't eat anything until after (9.15) - sorrry nursey but i am gonna have to drink lucozade or I'll die walking up there.

okly dokes thats my daily winge over with.
better get off to bed (after i have checkedd these 200+ emails..... mainly frebie sitess or rubbish)
