    Afternoon all!

    The sun is shining, it's a beauiful day, I am ignoring any problems in the world today and enjoying it while it lasts :j

    Have been working on my Twelve days, I overestimated my target of finishing by the end of Oct, I reckon I can have it done in less than a week now :cool:

    23rd - I love the cupcake, and the Quilt is gorgeous :T What will Stonehenge look like when it's finished, do you have a link?

    Hi ladies.

    Hope everyone is well.

    I haven't stitched for a couple of days so decided I had to do some earlier this afternoon. Didn't get much done but every stitch counts, right? :D

  • Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good day. I have done a bit of stitching this week and hope to do loads over the weekend!

    A quick question on backstitching - How many squares do you cover with one stitch?

    Love the cupcake!

    normally back stitch over one square unless that would not go through a hole, in which case two or three.

    Hope that makes sense! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I pretty much do as the chart says except for the longer stitches. If the backstitch line goes across 2-3 squares on the chart, then so does my stitch. If it goes in a straight line for say 10 stitches I might break that into 2 lots of 5.
    In the end I do what I think looks best either covering the distance on the chart with one stitch or more.
