haha, completion not before 2020 at the rate i stitch, its been almost a year for Czar and thats tiny compared to Atlantis but i did have a big break from it. Place your bets now :rotfl:

Louise - I agree life is too short to backstitch over one square so two it is!

Im determined to do some stitching today, was too tired last night after dragging bump around Belfast shopping! Although I got loads of cute bits and didn't cost me a penny as I used some gift vouchers that have been in my purse for ages

Hope your feeling a bit better Flat Eric with your cold. I've gone a little bit off chart design on my current xmas card but I think we are allowed a little bit of artistic licence - it makes them unique :rotfl:I have been trying to build up a little supply of ready stitched cards so that I am prepared but as of yet it hasn't happened and I always seem to be rushing at the last minute.

Not been tempted by the Maria Diaz bookazine chicky - not a great cat lover and even though the baby pic is lovely I haven't really got anyone to stitch it for. I have received email tempting me with 5 for £5 of Cross Stitch Crazy mags (giving serious consideration - can't be that bad for a fiver can it????)

I'm opposite to you mrs-moneypenny - my glasses have to come off for stitching but I need them for tv - last night I was trying to stitch and watch Strictly - most of the time it was just coloured blurrs moving around the screen :rotfl:

Bought the frame but the mount that came with it has too big an aperture so I'm going to get another made to measure and use a double mount in contrasting colour as I think it gives quite a good effect.
