beg. Love Myrtle Cottage! I really must get a Michael Powell kit to add to my stash
ocemeer and observer. Nice work ladies.
Maria. Happy Birthday for tomorrow! :j
Now I have the idea in my head I think I'll go look at Michael Powell kits, decide which one I want then research the best price I can find. Then I'll ask hubby to buy me another xmas present to put away :rotfl:
I say another because we went out shopping yesterday and I went into the shop that sells cheap Yankee Candles and couldn't resist a new flavour, I think it's called sweet melon.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I haven't forgot to post my progress pic this week. Have uploaded it and that's all photobucket will let me do with it at the moment. I can't edit it for some strange reason, keeps saying something like 'photo no longer available from owner' No idea why. I'll try again later:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. Hi all,
Have been popping in but to busy to post!
Loving the pics, you are all so talented!
If you remember in my first post I got in to cross-stitching by coming across a Cross Stitcher mag in the charity shop for 29p! Ive done the pre-printed ones before but never counted so its a challenge to me, but I think Im doing ok!
Ive noticed that some of you do all one stitch first then do you go back over and cross it? I like to do mine in a complete cross all in one go, is that right or is it just personal preference?
Anyway here is a pic of my w.i.p:
And my 15 yr old DD also took it up and has finished her first project, Im so proud of her, it looks amazing!! Its the "Cowboy" from Cath Kidston's STITCH book.
How often do you all post pics? Once a week? Sorry for the questions!! x x0 -
hi all,
ebaybaby - post pics whenever you feel you have (or havn't) made the progress to show us. Personally I post whenever I actually remember - and my pooor phone is poorly sick so there won't be any till it comes back from Samsung.
besides which i've not actually done anything for AGEESSS. I had alll good intentions tonight but have about 30 surveys to do from various sites so if I'm lucky I'll get an hour or 2 in tonight.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hey everyone
Postingalwaysposting: Did you mean have I got the christmas bug yet? Yes! I really love the christmas preparations every year, this year I've tried to make some gifts and decorations myself. The meerkat is for my mum, have made a little cardboard frame for it and put it away 'til christmas.
Ebaybaby: I think the way you stitch is entirely up to you. I usually do one stitch for a whole row then go back unless I only have one or two stitches in one section. Also, upload as many update pics you want. I think we all like to see how everyone else is getting on
I baked some cookies today, head over to my blog to see a picSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0
