Not sure on what my weekend stitching project will be- might finish card design I was doing last week (that came free with cross stitch card shop) or might do a winnie the pooh design (I love winnie the pooh). I have a free tigger (mag) kit i am thinking of doing for a friend. decisions. decisions....

Has anyone noticed that World of Cross Stitch are not doing their friday freebie on facebook ? Apparently they have been breaking facebook rules ? don't get how ?

weather looks like it wants to rain here. I'm undecided whether to pop into town today or whether to do not very much and settle on the sofa and stitch ?

and a free michael Powell Xmas chart.

    Ooh.

Is that *free to you 'cause you bought something else* or *freely available* i.e. a magazine etc.?

I had a quick glance at MP's website but couldn't see anything.

    Ta!:D

I couldn't find it either 23rd - unless it was hiding somewhere :D

Hope to make up heart card for friend this afternoon and will post pic of it.

Then I think it will be MP Myrtle Cottage for me. Got threads fastened onto the card all ready and waiting while I had my first cuppa of the day. :D

    Lovely work everyone.

    Bye for now

I'm glad it wasn't just me that perked up with the mention of a free MP chart :rotfl:Hopefully we haven't misunderstood 23rd!

Today I shall be mostly washing (5 loads! There's only me - where the heck does it come from? 2 are bedding though, had a houseguest this week so the spare bed + towels needed changing) but I shall try to do some more of page 2 of Tenby Harbour. It's about 1/4 done so far.
  • There was a free MP chart in one of the mags about 6 months ago - maybe it's that one?

From Wiki : A "fat quarter" is one square meter folded into four and cut along the folds, thus giving a square piece of fabric 50 cm on a side, as opposed to buying a quarter of a meter off the roll, resulting in a long thin piece that is only 25 cm wide
