I LOVE that Dragon ruth_honey, almost asked for a
but convinced I'll never do it. esp not now SOMONE has reminded me I have that lovely night beore christmas chart I wanted to do..... another one for next years list I think.
Hi Aime82 ...... now number 76!
Observer I HATE it when that happens (which is why I always get proof of posting now). It's just awful tho when you have spent time stitching something for it to go missing as you can't put a price on it. They once lost my mums mothers day card and pressie (had stitched the card). I was gutted. Didn't even realise they had until about 4 months later when i was out with my mum and pointed out the smelly thread (which I'd used to stitch it) in a shop and she'd never heard of them. I said "didn't you get your monthers day card?" and she said no.
I felt awful thinking she'd thought I'd just ignored mothers day but was too polite to say anything.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

It took me 2 days to stitch...(so you know what to do if you change your mind)
Oh, that 2 days was not rushing things at all and it was on holiday, so I had lots of breaks to wander outside and watch the ducks etc. I did grid the aida with the fabric pen though. Very useful for something like that.
Just looking through my photos on the PC. I have a UFO album & there is SO much half stitched (or barely started!) kits that I own. Very, very naughty. Must do better...:)

Saying that, I like some of the things in the one I got today - the Red Christmas Tree and the blue doves on the front cover...!
I do prefer WOCX though.
My DH bought me this magazine today (cross stitcher) as i told him to get me a cross stitch mag with a freebie (had itchy hands and needed to cross stitch!) and he got me this. I found this mag very exciting! LOL! All these charts in there and christmasy things already! Maybe it is because i am new to all this and this was my first cross stitch magazine lol! But i too love the red christmas tree pattern and will def be doing this one for christmas. Maybe instead of framing it turning it into a xmas cushion.... Oooo so many plans already and it's only been day 2 since doing my first little card!I was happy with the freebie but instead of making the house decoration i changed it a bit and made smaller square decs instead. I will post some pics tomorrow! But can i ask what does WOCX stands for? Think i will look out for this mag if you recommend it?

Phew! Just got in. Very good night out.. Lots of old friends from b4 we moved and fab tunes and lots of dancing. Am online to calm down a little. I volunteered to drive, so a healthy cheap night with no threat of hangover! OH is going to watch formula 3 tomorrow, so I hope to stitch
Ami -I love your enthusiasm! I also like cross stitcher, but this new one didn't inspire me too much... Though I do love the cover gift :0)

Good morning everyone!
I'm a lurker here so I feel like I know you all! I used to do cross stitch but haven't for about 10 years! You have all inspired me so yesterday I got the project out I was part way through and stitched a bit more. I will try and sort out some piccies.
I'm not going to get much time to stitch when I'm working as I'm a teacher and I'm also learning to sew and make cards!
As well as being rusty there is a small rust Mark on my aida where I left a needle in it for a couple of years! Any tips on how to get rid of this? Otherwise I'll have to think of some additional stitching to cover it up. Thanks
