Ooh.
Is that *free to you 'cause you bought something else* or *freely available* i.e. a magazine etc.?
I had a quick glance at MP's website but couldn't see anything.
Ta!:DI'm glad it wasn't just me that perked up with the mention of a free MP chart :rotfl:Hopefully we haven't misunderstood 23rd!chickywiggle wrote: »MP - free charts:

Thinking of preparing order for Across Town for threads for those MP xmas designs so that they are here ready and waiting. You've got to think ahead.
Enjoy your weekend ladies.
Love those, ESP the heart:T
Dr who and mpowell were my reasons for ordering. I was a little irritated that some MP are Anchor and some list both. I wanted to get threads for the greek one but that only gives anchor. Hens my eBay searches last wknd.
I'm shattered. Been out coppicing today, getting logs for the winter and improving a community wood and getting exercise. How virtuous is that!?!
No stitching tonight, we're off clubbing! Not 'chav' clubbing, that's not our scene... It'll be goth, industrial music with lots of big boots and corsets!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. Wow chicky, thanks very much, that xmas door is so cute. I would love to do a large MP kit but I am shockingly bad at backstitch and mp is all about the backstitch. I can tyr on this with little outlay, many thanksblue_eyed_girl wrote: »Here are the cards I promised you earlier
A 'thinking of you sort of card for a friend'
That is beautiful BEG, never thought green and pink could work so well. hope your friend likes it :TI am quite  actually. Got new issue of cross stitcher yesterday and not that impressed with it. The last few kits have not been up to much (when you compare the lovely kit we got from WOXS this month) and whats with the poor quality materials being used ?
Flat Eric, I have complained to CS twice now. Firstly because the firt three magazines of this year has been faulty somehow. One was obviously where the printer had changed the roll and I have a magazine where there are blank pages/pages with tape on them etc. They promised to send a repalcement, never came  I then sent another email because out of two kits one had no threads at all and one only have one strand of each (thus not enough to complete the design). They never replied... I now look at both WOCS and CS in the supermarket and always end up with WOCS0 -
It's quiten rare that I see something in Cross Stitcher that I like any more... my mum gets me a subscription for Christmas each year. I might ask her to change it to the other mag - Cross Stitch Gold or whatever it's called and try that for a year.
Saying that, I like some of the things in the one I got today - the Red Christmas Tree and the blue doves on the front cover...!
I do prefer WOCX though.0 -
Hello everyone
Popping in to say HI as I seem to have neglected you all this week! So I'm bringing more coffee and cake lol :coffee::bdaycake:help yourselves
Hello to the newbies we have!!!! You too are welcome to eat cake and drink coffee (good job its virtual and therefore stretches to as many people as we like!)
Also loving all the pictures people are posting. I love reading what others are doing / wish to do.
I have also come on for a winge as I STILL haven't got my £210 refund I was promised for an item I sent back to a company a fortnight ago as it wasn't working. Not CS related but soooo annoying. Just give me my money!!!
And I'm not happy with the post office as I sent my friend a present for her new baby which also had this that I posted the other day in the parcel. Its been sat at my house since May waiting for the name and as soon as I post it they *** loose it. Not happy!
So going to go and get a cup of tea and some choccie and chill out I reckon. Its not like I can do anything about it i guess.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Stitch stitch stitch! (ps who ever posted the stitching smilie that was fab - when do u find out how to do those sort of things) xxChallenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j

Never found a pattern with santa that I wanted to do and with my eyesite I now struggle, but came accross a pattern by phil davison in twisted stiches book it shows a santa in his knickers doing what can only be described as a streak with a grin that made me giggle, so going to try and do that one.0

Hi everyone!
I've been meaning to post this pic all week, but kept forgetting to dig out the SD card it was hiding on.
I stitched it for someone here in the cafe as she was very generous & sent me some aida & threads recently. The kit is stitched with hand dyed anchor threads & I really like the effect they gave.
I plan to stitch him again for my DH, but this time on coloured evenweave. He'll have to wait a bit though-I am too engrossed in my Lace Up chart right now. Must post an update of that this weekend too.
Oh, and I also wanted to share a wedding picture I stitched back in 2007 for my friends. Apologies for the clutter in the pic. It was hanging on their wall when I finally got around to taking a snap of it!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
