Sounds like we've all had pleasant evenings?
Mine was my first bath since moving... Radox bubbles, a little but lovely coconut oil head massage from my other half, a glass of red and a Nigel slater book:)
...which inspired me to cook, so we Didn't have the planned fish and chips, instead I baked garlic marinated chicken and made a simple recipie of tomatoes with green lentils from the Nigel book. Healthy and tasty. And totally excuses me splashing out on 3 cook books at the works today!
Had meant to stitch but have been catching up on Dr Who before the series restarts tomorrow. Thank heavens for iplayer.Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
Louise. Progress is coming along nicely.
I finally got some stitching done today, first time this week.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
No stitching for me today. I've spent the day with my mum at a craft show!
I won tickets for free entrance (cross stitch crazy), cashed in Tesco vouchers for train to Henley, so only paid for oyster fare across London. Had to get up mega early, but we had a lovely day. I wasn't sure exactly what kind of crafts would be there. I knew it wasn't cross stitch, but the leaflet didn't give much clue about what would be there. It was a mix of "lovely things". Hand made...stuff! Chairs, jewellery, signs, paintings, clothing, mirrors. It was great just wandering round & choosing all the things you'd buy if you had the money & space!
Only bought a mini sign for mum for Xmas & some pecan nuts to munch whilst wandering round. Mum bought me a bracelet which will be my Xmas present. It's a charm bracelet with biscuits on! The stall had some really funky, unusual jewellery. Website is https://www.hmbm.co.uk if you wanted to see. The chilli pepper set looked really good too!
Going to the theatre tomorrow, then meeting my auntie for coffee(she's in London for the weekend). Nice lie in first, though-hopefully! Enjoy the long weekend, everyone!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
