Friday night is stitchy night - have hidden myself in bedroom away from 2 loud children and dh as we have to stay out of painted lounge and also away from tv and they are driving me nuts!
Am kind of hoping they forget I'm here and I can just carry on stitching till bath and bedtimes are both done then I can sneak downstairs and carry on (but with a brew at my side)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

OOh PP, I watched Australia last week. Not a very strong plot but Hugh Jackman without his shirt on so I've forgiven him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm just about to get my stitching out and watch Midsomer Murders. I'd never seen it before I was poorly, but now have it on series link and am totally hookedMarried 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

well it was curry ready meal for tea followed by m & $ sundae and a glass of red that I am enjoying at the moment. Its too much effort to do much else on a friday eve! although my food choices today will do absolutely no favours for my slimming world efforts !! I have probably had a month's syns in one day !
I'm so tired. I am very much looking forward to my friday sleep but I am sure the furry alarm clock will spoil my lie in tomorrow !
I have just been chilling out browsing stuff on ebay / have been trying to hunt down assisi charts. Can anyone recommend any books or mags that have featured this type of design ? It looks very effective !
I was thinking because I haven't been able to find many designs that I might use a normal chart but find one where I think it would work where you could just stitch the background and then the design in backstitch only ?0 -
Evening ladies - just having a bit of a catch up with you all.
:hello:Jenny_Stitcher and Poppet :hello:
Glad you enjoyed your trip Marru - lovely looking mags btw
Aw harley1 those little animals look so cute.:)
Your mermaid looks gorgeous Louise :T Just had a look on the Debbie Cripps site and there looks some loverly stuff - have bookmarked it for future ref. (leading me astray)
Been a bit busy with decorating and one thing and another and not a great deal of time for stitching. I did however spot the family crest/motto thing on a website so I got that and have stitched it to make it into a b'card for my uncle who is into that sort of family history thing. Mind you even though it was quite a simple design, it turned out that for every stitch I did - I had to unpick two :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:if that makes sense.
New threads arrived from Across Town so I have got them ready for when I start xmas cards. Still not had time to frame Cottage Garden or make up September flower b'card. Will post pics as soon as I can.
Had hoped to go to booty sale on Sunday to look out for stitchy stuff or nice frames but the way the rain in coming down atm .........
Hope you all have a great weekend whatever you are getting up to
