I can see it now and it looks nice.
Have you tried photobucket for hosting your pics? I use it and have no problems with it, if you want info let me know and I'll help. Or if you want to try Flickr chicky has a guide in the first post of this thread.

    Harley it's small but lovely.

Hubby had a night of passion planned for us (oh joy!! *sarcasm*), unfortunatly his mate has just turned up and challanged him to a round of golf on the PS3....SHAME..... so being my hubby who cannot say no - i have put the boys to bed and snuggled me up in bed for a night of stitching.

Just got to update my diary......

Goodness me! I have been away for just over a week and you have posted 215 new posts on this thread!!! Might take me a while to catch up. :rotfl:

Anyway - I brought some nice Cross Stitch mags from France (all using DMC threads), will put pics up at some point.

No stitching done apart from couple of hours on the ferry on the way back. My excuse is that the cottege where we stayed had all the James Herriott books so I managed to read 5 of them while there. :D

Grrr internet has been flicking on and off all day. Neighbour had a crackle on her line, BT mannie was up the pole (lol) yesterday to sort it. Today.....guess who's line is crackling now!!!

Still, at least I got some stitching done since I couldn't get online, but haven't got any proper work done.

Hi marru, glad to hear u had a nice break. I saw the French mags on a day trip, but only bought one. Am really interested to see your pics.
woho threads and pattern have arrived i so want to start but still knitting hoodie :( does anyone else do two crafts at once? and if so how do you spread your time between them?
I've always got a few things on the go... Hand sewing patchwork pieces always, freehand embroidery often, card making when needed, other sewing projects/makes as inspired. What I choose to do depends on time available, tiredness levels, and wether I've seen the movie before!
I don't knit well, but the car is the place for that on journeys... Hum... maybe that's why I don't knit well!

Not wanting to be left out, here are my answers to the questions posted a few days ago:
Aida or Evenweave - what's your favourite fabic count to work on?

14 Aida, but I've never tried even weave! I have a kit in my stash on 16 Aida, and that's currently a bit scary!

You have a £10 gift voucher (and that's all!) for stitchy stash - what do you buy?

Maybe I should try a little even weave, a pack of Gold needles, and I'll take the change back to the charity shop for the rest of those 10p/25p mags!

    What's your favourite stitching subject?
I love the look of samplers, I'd like to stitch more.

What subject do you dislike stitching?
Flowers with fractionals have recently really ticked me off!
    Black /white charts confuse me.
Oh and I like cute but hate twee, but don't ask me where the dividing line is!!

Who was the last person you stitched for and what was the occasion?
Val, family friend like an aunty, a sampler card for her 90th birthday. Only a bit late:o

    **Favourite publication:

I do actually like the new style cross stitcher, and am really enjoying the WOXS that I've picked up second hand.

I've invited a fb friend from one of the mags sites over on to our fb site, which she joined. I wonder if we'll see here here too? :j hello to all newbies and lurkers!:j

Welcome back Marru, hope you had a nice holiday.

No stitching done here again today. At this rate it won't be worth posting an update pic on the usual day because there won't be any progress to take a pic of!

Yeah, I cross stitch, make cards, make jewellery and knit.

I make cards when they are needed, same with jewellery and only knit occassionally, cus it takes forever LOL
    I'd rather be cross stitching!

I always have more than one project on the go. I work on two pieces of x stitch at the same time. Forest walk is huge so I do that at home and I take a small one with me wherever I go. I'm also knitting a cardigan but I usually only do a couple of rows a day. I also do parchment craft although I haven't done any in ages and cake decorating which I really need to get cracking on with as it's my parents 30th anniversary this Monday :T

    Have a good weekend!
