ps what is everyone getting for xmas ???? I'm naughty - if I see something I want, I buy it so come xmas and the like - I never know what to ask for ????
I'm usually the same but this year I quite fancied a Kindle, I do a lot of reading.
BUT....I had to be all MSE, couldn't just leave hubby to listen to hints and buy it when I had a £10 off code for it lolSo I ordered it but have been good and haven't even taken it out the package it came in, hubby put it away so I haven't seen it yet. (That counts...right?):rotfl:
I am also expecting DVD's and perfume - I gave him £20 of Tesco exchange vouchers and told him to use them towards the perfume

hi, yes all is well, just one of those days when the weekend isn't long enough and work and too much to do, too little time = grumpy flat eric
oh and the news is always so depressing (in particular news widely reported yesterday)
counting down to xmas now - nice break from work - plenty of time to relax and stitch :j
I think I am going to talk to my doctor and get him to prescribe me stitching time :rotfl:

I still can't get over the shock of the news at the weekend - it's just so very sad.
Speaking of news, I really do wish that news was just that, news and not scandal, gossip and outright lies. I'm not convinced that this inquiry will make a blind bit of difference.
People should vote with their money and not buy their stupid papers and magazines. The only publications that come into our house are Craft Stamper magazine and the local free paper.
I absolutely love the idea of stitching time, or any sort of me time, for that matter, being prescribed. It gave me a really good laugh. :rotfl:
As for Christmas presents, we are super super skint, so mine will def' have to be chosen by myself - not to waste any money. I was in the Range last week as my friend wanted to return something and I saw a lovely memory box, so I think Santa's going to be shopping there!0 -
Hi can I join in please, I am a cross stitch addict..lol I am mainly stitching American designs and I even subscribe to an American cross stitch magazine..see told you I was an addict..lol
Anyway I have just finished two projects for Christmas, just have to back them and turn them into ornaments..
And this is a work in progress at the moment..

Natty, they're lovely and welcome to the thread
For Christmas, my OH has requested a particular watch and I've requested from him a particular stitching floor stand, chart holder and helping hands (as recommended here many pages ago)
On the downside, I have to go to the hospital about two tiny lumps that I've found. Related to my sig below but they can't be, so I'm trying not to let myself get worried.0 -
Natty they're all lovely. Do you know what I've realised where I'm going wrong. I've done large projects and given them away as gifts and have nothing to show for my work myself.
I like the fact that you have lots of little things in your photo's - maybe easier to motivate myself?
Anyway, I love them all and really should be stitching, but it's such a miserable day I'm just enjoying watching the tv.0 -
Aww natty! I love the pics you put up in your post, I'll have to check out your other pics later.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0
