Grrr mse won't let me quote tonight for some reason. We are going to Harrogate for both days and staying over in a hotel - not very mse but have saved up for it. Also signed up for a couple of workshops this year, making a patchwork bag and a Christmas bauble so looking forward to those.....and some spending;) PM if you fancy meeting for a brew and we can swap mobile numbers - I'm very good with m-i-l's and extremely good with Grannies:p

For french knots, the way i do them is pull the needle through, then hold the thread with my left hand and spin it round the needle a few times, then i push the needle back through the same hole, keep holding the thread until near the bottom and pull. It works so far for me :rotfl: This is similar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9qPPXcjXTU

Wow, it's been quiet in here!

Have been working on my Disney Princess design but I'm not too sure about how it's turning out...will stitch a bit more then take a pic and show what I mean.

    Hope everyone is okay?

I'm making my way through my latest nursey design, which is something a bit more 'cute' than I normally do. A lot more shading that I have done in a while, but really enjoying it.

However my Bothy Threads spaceship arrived yesterday, and I am really keen to get started on that! Looks like lots of fun. But the child that is for is still 4 months away from being born, and the one I am doing now is for a child who is already 6 months old, so need to get this one done first.

I really must stop buying kits - I have lots now I have never done!

Emily 926 - what about that train one I put on the last page?

Or this one looks fantastic completed:

I've done this one twice - looks lovely. It's the partner to the blue toy shelf on the last page.

I have another farm animals one that I can't find a link too. A bit more long stitching and like a crayon drawing. Looks good, and has the advantage that it's quite quick to do.

I have all the designs and can photocopy them for you. The kits are all done, so sorry can't give you them!

I've also got the Mr Men Alphabet, plus a couple of other alphabets - fairy simple, and one in a book not a kit, if you want an alphabet one.

Does anyone know of somewhere I can find a kit/pattern for either the full 'Monday's Child' poem or that for individual days as my son and daughter were born on different days of the week?

    Kind regards

    Emma

PS Still not found anything really suitable to stitch for my Dad
