Cross Stitch Cafe 2011 ..... part 2

Wow you have all been really quiet today!

Sorry for my absence but things have been really crud lately with the kids being ill, virgin being useless and us having no internet and my anxiety has been really bad too I'm feeling a bit better now so I thought I'd update you with my completed Dolly Mama's kit

Here is my progress so far


it's really hard work though when you have 4 kittens pinching your thread and jumping on your frame



That's 3 of them, the other one is behind them having a snack from mum lol, they're 9 weeks today and although they are adorable I'm looking forward to 2 of them going to my Mum's house on Tuesday!

I don't know if anyone will see this in time but if you like Cross Stitch Heaven's Facebook page there is a code for 5% off until midnight tonight. DMC is 39p a skein and I've always found them reliable

All their kits are priced like that :eek: I bought it from that seller but I only paid £3.74 for the chart to be emailed to me so it's there ready for anyone who wants a

MoosMummy - Your Dollys Mama sign is lovely and the kittens are gorgeous! My fully grown cats still find it amusing to try and play with my threads whilst im stitching!

Finally picked my needle up yesterday! Didn't get much done though, had a cracking headache come on and couldn't concentrate.

Seems as though it has been a while since I posted any pics so I thought I would share a pic of a ballerina I did years and years ago - it was actually quite adventurous as I hadn't been cross stitching all that long.

Its a really dark miserable damp sort of day here so after all the chores are out of the way I might get around to finishing off my current xmas card (some backstitching) and will try to post pic later. Think that will be it for xmas cards this year.
