Morning (ok I know its 1;34pm but having only just finished breakfast it is still morning to me )

Having a bit of a rough week here with DS not sleeping wish I knew why, on top of the usual pain and feeling ill. Can't wait till the 2 operations are over with, I just want to feel human again.

I believe someone was hunting for a Beatrix potter birth sampler? I think it was Abbybryan - sorry if I am wrong lol. I think I can help. I have a book with a chart in, it has babies details in the centre and little characters around the outside making a boarder. It includes Peter rabbit, Mother Goose, Tom Kitten, Benjamin bunny etc. It is lovely. If you waant a PM me.

It has loads of lovely charts in it, well worth the £2.50 I bought it for. Just wish I had the money, time and wall space to do them all :rotfl:.

Still plodding on with The picture, will post photos later. It is finally starting to take shape. Although even if I stitch none stop for the rest of November I will be struggling to make my deadline :eek:.

Just posting to say I have found another Beatrix Potter birth sampler design in the sequal book. If anyone wants a PM me.
This one is very different from the last, it has babys details on a notice board with all the characters gathered round looking at it. (Its nicer than it sounds lol).

If anyone fancies doing a range of nursery stuff to match I have other charts ;)

Hi everyone, I've been busy finishing my Eeyore. Just finished the last cross stitch, a bit more backstitching to do. Hopefully will finish tonight as DH is out with work, will post a piccy once completely finished.

Already have my next project lined up - baby afghan and i go on maternity leave monday so will have plenty of time for stitching - unless baby makes an early appearence!!!

I love looking at everyones photos - hugs to those who need them xx

hi all,Im not very talkative so tend not to post much but i just wanted to say a what great thread this was.I taught myself to cross stitch about 5 years ago and its the only one of my "FADS"(as my OH calls them)that i have stuck with.
Going through a stage just now of getting my stitching out,looking at it for a few days and then putting it all away again.After reading this thread and looking at all the lovely pictures i think i have my motivation back.
I probably wont post much but i will continue to enjoy reading this thread.:)

Hi All,

I've finished stitching the stocking as per the design (hurrah!) - but as the piece was originally meant to be on white aida, and I've stitched it on navy I now need to fill in some of the bottom in white - I had a feeling that this would be the case. I think that I'm going to go with half cross stitch in white to fill it and then if I'm not happy with that I'll go over it again to make it full cross stitch. I'm only going to do the foot of the stocking. Had my chemo yesterday, not feeling too bad today, with me it's normally a day or two afterwards that I start feeling really bad.

I still haven't picked up my needle this week. I had good intentions to do some today but I done the ironing instead
Not that I prefer ironing over stitching you understand but now the ironing is done I can stitch over the weekend and not have the ironing staring at me
