Biker, hugs for you.
Are they doing a reconstruction at the same time? And if you've got a family history of breast cancer, have they discussed a bilateral mastectomy (doing both at the same time?) - possibly questions that you don't want to think about at the moment, but having gone through it, I know the sort of questions that I asked.
If you want to PM me, I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have

Big hugs to bikerchick. Sending you strength and healing vibes.
Our school held a pink day on the last day of term a couple of weeks ago and raised £261 for breast cancer research:j.
Not a great week here, spent yesterday morning at the local intensive care unit - one of the pupils in my class is on life-support:(
Cheered up a bit this evening-my frames have arrived, so I'll try and frame 3 tonight:T
Also had another parcel waiting for me tonight. I was very naughty and ordered 3 sets of Tim Holtz embossing powders from craftsuperstore.co.uk. They were only £14.99 for a set of 6 plus the ink pad - normally sell for about £5 each, so it would of been rude not too - wouldn't it??

Sorry to hear your news biker. We're all here to help you get through it, though. Don't forget that. <<hugs>>
We had some bad news this week too. My husband's mum passed away on Monday. We knew it was coming, but it's still hard to deal with. The funeral is on Monday, then we have very limited time to clear the house, as its a council property.
I'm also not doing too well. At the end of last week, I lost my voice and it's still not come back completely. Then on Monday I hurt my back. It's been a painful few days stuck indoors, and I was going crazy feeling so useless. Managed to get to the gym this afternoon, just to walk on the treadmill slowly and do some weights (very careful not to do anything that might hurt my back). It was nice to get out & just chat with the instructors at the gym.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
