  • Hi Everyone,

I've now got my date through for chemo - next Monday, well at least I'm not waiting for the date anymore.

I've been stitching like mad and here are the pictures...

Nearly there now - there are two rabbits and some snow to stitch and then I need to add my sister's name.

    Hi everyone
Hobbycraft discount - I'm wondering if they are doing this on thursday to compete with the NEC? I know the autumn show doesn't have much stitching, but lots of crafters are into more than one craft. I know that's where I'll be on thursday anyway - even though it means being out the door by 6.30am and getting home around 9pm.

Debtdalek - I'm off to the NEC on Thursday as well. I'm going on my own as my friend can't make it this time. If you want to meet up just to say hello pm me. It would be nice to put a face to a name.

    'lo all

Flat Eric - First of all, congrats on completing the 10k run, that's a great achievement :T Which seats did you decide to go for in the end? I hope you're not too near the front, because for 'Phantom' you need to be a little back from the stage to get the full effect of some parts of the performance (I know that sounds cryptic but I don't want to give anything away) It's an amazing show, definitely worth the money if you are into the theatre.

Shelly - not much more to go!! It's amazing how life-like it looks :j

chicky - sooo tempted by the hobbycraft discount! I can't really think of anything I really need though, so prob best to stay away from the place, will save myself a fortune :rotfl:

Haven't done any stitching for a week, Have got season 1 of the Ghost Whisperer to start watching at the weekend. Dunno if it's any good, I had never heard of it before until my sis gave mea a loan of it.:o

  • Just a quick catch up with you all.

Judellie - the scene looks so calm and peaceful.

Flat Eric - :T:T well done on your 10k - you should be really pleased with yourself. I only managed the 5k Race for Life earlier this year (walking that is):rotfl::rotfl:

Shelly - your tiger is stunning :T:T

Tracey - snowman is beautiful. Hope all goes well for you next week.

As far as stitchy news goes - finished xmas cards (for the time being anyway) and I'm going to try and complete a few general type cards just to try and have a few in hand.

Incidentally - would anyone be able to help out ;) with a fireman sam or just a fireman chart please as my bro has a milestone birthday coming up and I was trying to plan ahead.

Apologies but I'm going with two friends and we're hoping to do some workshops, so have no idea what time we will manage to book those for.
Please send me "put it down, you don't need it, can't afford it" thoughts all day!

Oooh I love Ghost Whisperer. Actually very tempted to join L0ve film just to be able to rent all of the series (I think it might just come tad cheper than buying them especially as I don't think I want to watch them more than once)

Have you thought about finding a code for a free love film trial as long as you cancel before the first direct debit is due you won't be charged
