Hearing everyone talk about shows do you know that you can use Tesco vouchers to pay for the Christmas Hobbycrafts show at the NEC. Need to order by the end of tomorrow. Think I will invest as if I use vouchers it feels as if its free.

Will catch up on Tuesday as might be late back Monday. have fun all.

And if you need to get there by train, you can use Tesco vouchers for Red Spotted Hanky website.

Sorry I've not been posting much. Feeling stressed & down at the moment. Mother in law in hospital & mum will be losing her job around Christmas time. A bit much to deal with at the moment. I'll be back soon, though.

Hi all, sorry for the rant. It did help talking it through with u as it were. After they left (before 2.00am as wife of one demanded them home!!), I showed OH my post as he was bewildered as to my grump. It made him understand. He is a good man, just too arrogant, exuberant, and 'deaf' to my protests sometimes. He was very nice to me this morning, even trying to help with lunch (so funny!), and gave me money to treat myself to a Chinese tonight. He's out drinking in a different town, so I get a needed quiet night.

The enforced very late night, i didnt manage to sleep till nearer 3am, meant my plans for today were thrown upside down. So I threw in the towel and went shopping! Too tired to stitch this evening. Early night for me. Sorry all for venting at you. And for being so off topic. Hope I explained myself.

RUTH sorry to hear you've not been good. Keep stitching, it really does help x

ALISB. Glad to see use got ur specs. I used asda and they a good frames. Good idea to ease yourself into them.

FLAT ERIC. Yay for a Duvet Day! Sounds like just what u needed. Hope ur headache is gone now.

I'm looking forward to Spooks later :j will enjoy it with a cheeky glass of red :D:D

Not managed any stitching. Went out for a run first thing then bath and quick tidy up of bedroom. I wish the sock monster would stop eating my socks - I can never seem to make up pairs ?!!

Then it was off for lunch out which was nice but no roast lamb as I was intending to have and didn't enjoy what I had instead. Talked myself into having the lemon meringue for pudding though :rotfl:

Since I got home, I have sorted my fridge out and roasted lots of veggies up before they end up in the bin. Intending to blitz in food processor soon and should have enough soup to keep me going for a few days.....

Don't expect I will manage any stitching this evening. But thank you to whoever posted the Lucie link - I have downloaded the free frog chart :j

Its just been one of those days when I have no reason to feel grumpy or upset yet I feel like a bear with a sore head. I almost want to rewind the weekend and start it all over again :o

HOW expensive have York museums become??? They are rediculous. Last time we went got the York card which was brill value but now it's the 'Yorkshire card' and £31 each for 1 day!!!!! It was £8.50 each for castle museum (which was very good) and £9.50 each for Jorvick Viking - (and the new Gldiator exhibition) - again it was good but JEEEZZZZ!!!! Thankfully don't have to pay for the little squirts yet. add onto that tea last night and brekkie this morning and you've not got a cheap night away. Thankfully the train museum was FREEEEEEE (but dinner there was a tad pricey and not all that nice)............ wonder how long that'll stay free for??

The train museum was free last time we went, which was about 2 years ago. You should have said, I'd have cooked you all tea - we only live about 20 minutes from York - and we had this last week off, so we've been into York three times.

    Glad you enjoyed it :D

I don't know how you do that - I have to work myself up into going out. I really admire that you do that! I can run for a whole mile now though and I did 4 miles today. Only another 22.2 miles to work up to

    Hugs to you Ruth.
    Spiral enjoy the Chinese
Flat Eric hope next weekend is a better one for you

Finished the little flower cross stitch and to be honest I was getting fed up with it. Couldn't start anything new before I'd done it neither. Got another little Christmas one to do, which I'd lost and OH found, so will start on that soon. Will post a pic of the flower one when I get a chance.

Thanks for your comments re York chicky. Will hunt out some deals and try to find out locations before we go. Can't wait now - getting quite excited :j:j:j
Hope you're feeling better soon Ruth-honey

Checked out the lucie heaton site and was quite taken with it nmm. Have registered on it and now got access to some free charts but I didn't think the prices were too bad either.

Bet your roast veggies soup tastes wonderful Flat Eric. Well done on the run btw. :T

Well done on your running too nykied :T

Looking forward to seeing your pic dizzy - its awful when you get fed up with a piece but I try to stick with it until its finished before I move on. I'm always planning my next project before I finish the current one. Trying to complete xmas cards atm.

Hope you all have a good week everyone.
