Could the OP offer, as a compromise, to work every Saturday instead... if the other manager has to work every Sunday? They could each also have the Friday/Monday off (whichever is next to their weekend day off) so they have a 2 day break every week?DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Meantime, back in the real world.......0 -
I should think a lot of people would prefer every Sat off, I know loads of people who hate Sundays and so are happy to work! Depends if you have a big night out on a Sat I suppose lol. The op did say he would work some Sundays if needed, just that he would prefer not to work them all.0

Yeah, without thinking it through.
Generally in retail, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday are the most important days of the week. On the most important days you are proposing that they both have days off leaving them both to be in working on the 3 least important days of the week.
No logic at all.0 -

I'm an idiot :rotfl: I didn't suggest the Management team take all their days off at the end/start of the week :rotfl:
Kind Regards

Monday is planning for the week ahead but others may see things differently depending on individual situations. Thursday is a key trading day but you should already be set up for that so doesn't matter as much.0 -

Agreeing with yourself is about all you can do really.
